Planet Hollywood or Earl of Sandwich? Why?

Have narrowed our choice to these two resteraunts for our last day before we drive 9 hours back home. We will spend it (well, half of it) at DTD shopping. Would like opinions on where we should eat lunch?

if its just a quick lunch i would go with earl of sandwich. they have some great sandwiches PH, is ok, if you want to you can walk around and look through the movie relecs, you dont have to eat there. the food is nothing special and at times you will wait unbelievable times to eat ok food.

Definitley Earl of Sandwich. The food is much better and you'll be in and out much quicker. Leaving you that much more shopping time.

I prefer Earl of Sandwich - I just love hot sandwiches on fresh bread. There always seems to be a long wait Planet Hollywood and I never had a great meal that I felt was worth the wait.

Never eaten at Planet Hollywood but we love Earl of Sandwich. You can't go wrong eating there!

Did you look at Raglan Road? Food is good (forkful of scallops was great). They not only have Irish food but great burgers. Service was fast, nice atmposhere.

I didn't really see what all the fuss was about with Earl of Sandwich (while I like good sandwiches, I wasn't impressed with these).

We don't have a Planet Hollywood near us (nearest one is 2 hours away and in a city we don't really visit) so it's very "disney" for us.

They have great appetizers and my parents and I will go there to share a few of them for a nice lunch - they also have great burgers and pastas.

I'd vote for Planet Hollywood because I can't get it at home (and I can find toasted sandwiches lots of places), great theming and it's not usually that busy at lunch time.

EoS! PH is like a Chilis, Fridays etc and we can eat that at home, plus it is so noisy in there it gives me a headache

EoS is awesome but where I would really go is WPE...the food there is amazing

What about eating at a table service - Planet Hollywood - and getting the EOS for the road? Then you can have a post disney picnic and not have to fret about where to stop later.

I vote for Earl of Sandwich. I haven't been there but have seen a lot of great reviews. We did go to Planet Hollywood and thought the food wasn't that great and that it was over-priced.

Very different options. EoS is a CS and Planet Hollywood is a TS. You'll spend less time at EoS and will be able to use that time around DTD.

Who is eating? If you have teens, preteens, young 20's they will probably like PH. That set would most likely appreciate the theme, etc. The food is mediocre and the waits can be forever. We would choose the Earl of Sand. over PH pretty much 10 times to 1.

The atmosphere at PH is fun, but I have never been to a Planet Hollywood that has good food, and I have been to a lot. We love Earl for a quick lunch. They have great sandwiches!

Earl of Sandwich is great! The sandwiches are so delicious. We tried PH and our food was cold. I wouldn't go back but we go to EoS every trip and never had a bad meal.

I could just eat a Hawaiian bbq sabdwuch right now! I love Earl of Sandwich, it's quick and the sndwuches are always hot and yummy. I haven't been to PH because the reviews have put us off. Another quick option would be Wolfgang Puck Express and the chicken and mash from there was fab.

We ate at Earl of Sandwich on our last trip and it was great. It went over quite well with my family which is why I have recently been informed to please ditch the ADR for Planet Hollywood (our last day also)so we can return to EOS.
