Has anyone ever tried this restaurant? How was the food/prices? Would my girls 13 and 10 like it here? Can you make reservations? Any tips?

Thanks

The food is mediocre......but my DD loved the atmosphere. We had a great time walking around looking at everything.
That's what you're paying for here :)

At that age your DD's will like it.

Go off hours.....we went about 11 am for lunch and it was no problem, but we have seen it lined up out the door.

We have been there twice and it was pretty good both times. Nothing extra special but it was okay for the prices!! But I must say that I would not "wait" to get in. Both times we went we were able to walk in.

This is my 11 yo DS's favorite restaurant. The food is ok. We usually arrive between 5:00 and 5:30 pm for dinner and don't have a problem. We also try to go on a week night.

I was not impressed by PH at all. The food was, at best, medicore, and at worst overpriced. The atmosphere was loud -- almost obnoxiously so. Service was bare bones -- I almost felt it was a do-it-yourself joint.

However, your children may love it. It is very appropriately themed and for some reason it always seems packed.

Like the others, I'd recommend early lunch or early dinner. Wait too long and you'll be waiting in line for a LONG (!) time.

We'd frequented the PH at the Mall of America when we lived in the Twin Cities. The PH at DD didn't measure up. The food was mediocre, the place was packed and very noisy, and the service was so-so. It was very overpriced for the quality. They had a problem figuring out traffic flow because a big group was exiting when we were trying to leave. They made all of us stand like sardines on the stairs waiting for the mass exodus. Everyone on the stairs was upset, because we were uncomfortably hot, and they could've let the 2 lines merge and trickle out the doors. NEVER AGAIN will we eat at this place.

If you want a really good burger, head to Jimmy Buffet's Magueritaville at Universal's City Walk.
