Anyone else glued to this programme ?

I think some of the scenes are are amazing :thumbsup2 .

I loved both shows that have been on so far.
That baby Panda was adorable - I want one, I want one!

Seriously though, what amazing footage, and what patience those poor cameramen must have.

WOW!

Anyone who hasn't seen it yet, watch it. If you love nature and animals, you will love it.

:thumbsup2

I've been watching too and loving it. Even OH who doesn't really "do" natural hisrtory/animal programmes was fascinated when I turned it on. The images are just o captivating!

Truely fantastic footage and fabulous quality pictures too. I am glued to this too. However I do find Attenburough's narration a bit...glib?

It's kind of empty...like the cameramen have done their work and someone has then decided that it should have a talk over.

Also, I am I little worried that, in this age of concern of the state of our Earth, it paints TOO rosy a picture. Sure Attenburgh mentions depleting resources, but in the next shot we are shown abundent wildlife which has overcome the difficulties which this age has put upon it.

No matter...thank you BBC for this. Better than Midsomer Murders :thumbsup2

Haven't caught up with these yet but have saved them on Sky +

Its a truly wonderous program, and excellent use of the licence fee !
Fantastic footage, even better than the IMAX stuff.

A couple of times i have thought Attenborough sounded a little rubbish but the imagery far outweighs all this.

The first episode will win awards on its own never mind the whole series.

One thing i must say is: How stupid an animal is a Giant Panda, it feeds solely on rubbish food, rubbish for itself, rubbish for rearing young. As i always say, needs a good Sunday Lunch!

My Fiance loves this programme. I found this week's episode a bit boring, the baby Panda being the best bit for me. Roll on next week. I have to agree that the cinematography is amazing :thumbsup2

I love the mountains, great places to think.

I think Attenborough is sounding his age really, sort of "tired".
They should have got Bill Oddie to do the narration.

It's a truly wonderful programme - I have enjoyed every second. The images are incredible, the music is timed and composed perfectly, and I think that David Attenborough is an excellent narrator.

It's about time there was something interesting and informative to watch.

:wizard:

I am not watching on Sundays as it clashes with the adventures of Jack Bauer in 24 on Sky 1  But I did watch the repeat on BBC2 on Saturday in complete awe of the fantastcic images - especially the sharks and the seals :)

I will be equally glued this Saturday evening :teeth:
