Anyone know where/when I can find this on the Canadian Discovery Channel?? I keep hearing all the hype...and it's on the U.S Channel...but not here??

I did a search on Bell ExpressVu for Planet Earth and nothing came up, so I don't think we can get it here. Too bad - it looks like a great show.

Apparantly, it is also sponsored by CBC and CTV owns Discovery here...so no go for us until next Jan when CBC will air. Geeeeeeeeeeeeez...Looks awesome.

I was at the Carousel Mall yesterday at the Discovery Channel Store in hopes of purchasing the dvds. They are not yet available in the states either. They were expecting the shipment at the end of April and sales clerk said they will not be available in canada?? Strange but true

This was on CBC a few months ago. Played on Sunday evenings...we got this great show first for once. It was great - I'm sure they'll replay it again soon.

I saw a commercial for it yesterday on Canadian TV (Bell ExpressVu) and it said it was on Sunday night at 8 pm on Discovery Channel. However, I watched the Amazing Race instead, so I'm not sure if it was actually on!

Saw the same Commercial, nope wasn't on.

Apparantly it is coming out on DVD so I guess I will just buy it rather than wait again. Always in the wrong place at the wrong time!

Obviously a case of the clerk having no idea what they are talking about.
April 24th is the release date and you can pre-order it from amazon.ca for $69.93 or if you like paying more, BBC Canada's web site has it for $91.98.

And yes, this series has already aired on CBC.
