I have an 5yo ds and my memory is failing me on what we did to keep him occupied on the plane when he was this little(we only flew once when he was a baby, so I guess that's why). Now we are flying with him and his will-be 13 month little sister in December and I'm trying to think of things that will keep her busy. I'm not worried about him, he'll have his Gameboy and Cd player and some paper and pens, so he'll be fine. But little sister might be a different story! Any ideas? I'm thinking little snacks will work for a little while....then Im lost!

Thanks!

I have never flown with children but I am flying to Disney with my DS 6 and my DS 15 months in 6 days (yipee!)

For the baby I bought a cheap bag at the Dollar Store and have filled it with various odds and ends. He LOVES to take my purse apart whenever he can get his hands on it. So I put an old wallet in there with play money in it, pipe cleaners, small stuffed animal, and a bunch of other tidbits that seem to keep him occupied.

Good Luck! :genie:

when my DD was little we flew to Dallas, she was about 8 months if memory serves. I took some of her favorite toys and some snacks. I even brought a touch and feel book and read it to her a few times. She ended up falling asleep during the flight and slept the majority of the way. Same thing when we flew back. I also brought the benidryl too, just in case.
