Plane arrives at 10 PM in Orlando airport - where to stay our first night ?

So I previously voted for the Hyatt. But we just changed a flight for December to a late one landing at 11pm… and I decided that we are going to our reservation right away at Disney so we have the room for the entire day tomorrow. The idea of potentially falling into bed late only to have to leave by 11am wasn’t appealing.

I guess I didn’t walk the walk lol.

For $240 a night, I would stay at the same place. The money saved at a value resort or the airport Hilton isn't worth the convenience of not having to move rooms and being on-property when you wake up. I have changed rooms before for travel days, but that's because the price of adding a night was over $600.

We have the same thing, fly in at 8:40pm on the 10th of September but our DVC doesn't start until the 11th. We chose to fly the 10th because we're using miles and the miles were much lower on saturday flight than sunday.

Anyway, I used Marriott points and got a room at the Swan. I did see prices through AAA weren't too expensive at the swan/dolphin. It made sense for us because we could fly in, get to Disney, check into the swan and we're right next to Boardwalk where we'll be staying and that way MUCH less travel hassle in the morning. I'll see if the Swan will transfer our bags but if not I'll just wheel them over to Boardwalk first thing in the morning and let them hold until we formally check in.

Definitely Hyatt Regency at MCO. Last time I checked they had good reviews on Trio Advisor as well
