Plan like you're a Blue Angel, but expect to be a commercial airline

As I reach the final stretch of planning, with FP+, ADR, touring plans, etc, I realize I'm planning like this is some kind of advanced military operation. Like I'm a Blue Angel pilot, and seconds and inches are critical to my success. I do realize that this trip will be more like a Delta/United/American or whatever airline trip. There will be delays, lost luggage (or teenagers!), bad food, and it will still be an amazing time. Keep this in mind as you complete your trip planning too

I know what you mean by it feeling like a military operation. Because I was feeling the same way, I bought a military tactical backpack to carry around in the parks. It had molle strapping to add additional pouches as needed. I added 2 bottle holders and a tear away first aid pouch.
