Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

Haven’t seen anybody else mention it but want to throw out that Cosmic Rewind and Tron are selling out several days in advance (much of the day I couldn’t get Tron at any time 8 days out, but caught it on a refresh for the afternoon, and was later able to move it to a hair before noon). Watch thrill data and plan accordingly— it is a 3day weekend Monday, but Tuesday is my day 8 and still rough. If you’re trying to do stack a lot of parks on your check in day or day after, it may be tough to get a LLSP for Tron in the AM.

Where do you find this info? Is this the thrillest chart you are referring to? Looking to get tron for Sunday 10/19

On the website Thrill-data you can see what lightening lanes look like in the future. On the left hand side of their homepage you'll see "Walt Disney World dashboard" under that the four parks are listed. Click on the park you want to go to and you'll see all the data. It's really cool and accurate.

Hi all.

On Friday, I will be purchasing LL for our girls trip next week.
I have everyone's card on file. Is it correct I can pick/choose who pays for what LL?

What time can I begin making my selections.

Thank you all very much.

If you are booking as a group with the same return times then everyone on a day's LLMP and/or LLSP on a per park basis there is one purchase for that day, and one charge.

You can book at 7 AM ET seven days before your resort arrival day for on-site guests or 3 days before your first park day of off-site.

Thank you.

Can I book an ILL at the same time I book the regular LL with the one transaction for four people?

Yes you are able to combine your LLMP and LLSP selections for a park day in a single transaction for your entire travel group of 4 guests.

You could take turns paying by days as long as you have all the credit cards added to your profile. For example, Susies card pays for MK day, Jenny's card pays for Epcot, etc.

Thank you. This is very helpful. I appreciate it.

Thank you. Yes, that is what we are doing. I have everyone's cards on my profile (along with their CV codes since I always seem to have to fill that in). W will just take turns.

Is anyone able to tell me if we arrive at Epcot and start our LL for 11 am, is it a chance that once we tap into TT I could get Remy or the other way around Remy then TT.

Will be doing all this tomorrow at 7 am. Wish me luck!

Since you are all adults, I just wanted to mention both Remy and TT have single rider lines.

Sorry but this is very inefficient, wastes your valuable time trying to book for mutiple days and who gets to pay the higher LL prices for MK, and HS vs Epcot, and AK?

This way you only need to change the date, and park selection then select your LLMP and/or LLSP choices and complete that purchase, and not take time to switch payment methods.

Why not just have every one send you a payment for their portion of the LLMP and/or LLSP costs. Venmo, Google Payment or Apple Pay?

Almost a Zero change of that happening after 11 AM. LLMP for Remy run out on average by 11:06 AM, and TestTrack (TT) 3.0 runs out on average by 9:18 AM daily. TT does have additional LLMP return times that drop in the afternoon. There are no additional drops for Remy during the day.

Dave

Can subsequent LL choices overlap with existing ones, time block wise? For example if one of the 3 pre-booked times was for 5:30pm, and I'm selecting a new experience once in the park, can it also end up being say, 5:20 or 5:30? Or does the time buffer still hold for those?

If you want an alternate strategy, Remy has a daily lull in the standby line during the late morning. The wait increases quickly when the park opens, drops noticeably just before noon the rises again in the afternoon through the rest of the day.

In late July, we had LLMP for 4 pm, but found a 25 minute posted wait just before noon. We went ahead and hopped in line and the actual wait was just over 10 minutes.

We were able to then roll the lightening lane over to Tiana’s for about the same time.

Let’s say I have 4 days on site, so I’m looking to book LLMP at 7 days ahead of my first night (not doing a park on arrival day). What strategy do you suggest? I have EPCOT on day 2, HS on day 3 and AK on day 4.
I assume that you have to book and pay for LLMP one park day at a time, so I need to try to book in order of best chance to get what I want.
I was thinking that I should book HS 1st, AK second and Epcot third. I can’t do the roller coaster style rides, so I won’t be looking to book Slinky Dog, TOT, RnR, EE, or Mission Space.

I’m also unlikely to rope drop. Will be looking to book my first LL around 10:00 each day. Not trying to do a ton of rides (physical limitations, I use a walker). But would like to get my preferred rides booked by using a reasonable strategy.

Thanks for any advice.

Yes HS 1st, then I would book Epcot second, AK third. Have you ever ridden ToT? The speed part is just up, and down with no sudden stop at the end.

Correct you book one set of (3) LLMP attractions per day in a single transaction. Are you aware of the initial limit of Tier restrictions for LLMP, and that once you tap in to your first LLMP the tier restrictions go away, and all LLMP attractions are open for additional selection but limited to 1 ride per attraction per day?

Thanks Dave, really appreciate it. I am aware of the limitations of LLMP. I was surprised that both Smugglers Run and Mickey and Minnie were Tier 1 at HS. Also, I’ve done ToT with disastrous results, unfortunately. I thought I would be ok too.

What do you think:

Selection day is tomorrow for 10/19 and choosing LL at MK. It's a 7:30 am early entry day. Plan to rope drop Seven Dwarves.

8:00 Philharmagic to just scan in (is there only one tap in?) and try for a ride in another park, not sure what yet and then will hop in line for Peter Pan or Small World or possibly Pirates.
9:00 HM
10:00 Tiana and Peter Pan if not (daughter doesn't want to ride Tiana too early and possibly not at all b/c she doesn't want to get too wet)

Will purchase Tron - not sure what time we want yet but hope to leave MK by noon to move on
