Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

I understand that I'm just saying there are groups out there that are still trying to circumvent the policy just to see how far they can push it. The person who was posting this was staying off-site was gonna move the start date of her 10 day ticket up doing a one night stay well ahead of when she was actually arriving. A package requires only a $200 deposit but you obviously need tickets with that a room only reservation only requires a payment of one night in full. This particular person was trying to do a one night room only reservation at All Star sports and moving the start date of her ticket on that day thinking she'll be able to span it over the course of her off-site resort.
Actually it’s nice to know that circumventing didn’t work.

This is what I was talking about previously it seemed like their were glitches in that some rides were almost impossible to move the time. One of those I ended up cancelling and after we redeemed the next LL it opened up tons of available times throughout the rest of the day.

The other issue we had is when one party member didn't want to ride BTMRR so didn't tap in. The LL stuck with her the entire day no matter how many times I tried to cancel it or the fact that the window for it had clearly passed. She also wasn't wanting to ride SM so in the end I just got it for the rest of us and not her.
We had a previous report of a stuck LL, you have to go to a blue umbrella to clear it.

so let's say I pay in advance the MLPP for Park A, and make my selections.

On the day of the visit, if I decide to go to park B instead, what happens? can I switch the selections to rides of the park B? If Yes, when can I do that? only on the day of the visit, after you tap in? anytime before you tap in?

if you can change, I assume nothing good will be left since I will be making the selections on the day of the visit?

Oh. I thought they meant entering the park. You can do it in an attraction queue, although can someone tap in their band and also your band at the same time? Wouldn't they have to go through the line twice, once with their band and once with your band?
No, it's definitely pretty easy to scan twice in the line. We've done it many times for certain rides my mom doesn't do, but for is Disney's system makes it complicated to break apart a group, so we do this.

Im not 100% positive but i think it depends on which reservation your tickets are attached to. If your 10 day ticket is attached to caribbean beach, then it would be 7 days prior to that straight through. But if your tickets are attached to the yacht club, it'll be based on the day you arrive at THAT resort.(not cbr).
Can you tell me what happens if you have separate tix, not attached to a reservation? We have military tix. so we still have to make reservations, so can we only book 7 days out from each of our tox reservation days? I hope not as this seems like quite a disadvantage. How does it work for APs?

TIA!

Only until you tap into your first LLMP attraction then the Tiers are gone an you can book and hold 3 of any available attraction.

Dave
Even if the first LLMP you tap into is not a tier 1? So if you tap into tier 2, still have your original tier 1 for that night, you can keep booking more tier 1s, assuming they're available?

To clarify, yes I will be in the park

In FP days, when you had to use 3 before booking more, this is what we did. One of my kids carried my band into the line and tapped his band and my band. It wasn’t ever an issue. I don’t see why they couldn’t do this now

My question was really about how canceling in this situation would effect future LLMP selections.
Ah yes, I used to do this with ITtBaB at DAK, but there was no second tap point there. If there is, then that's a problem.

If your staying onsite, even with separate tickets it will be based on your arrival day seven days prior.

I am one to believe in conspiracy theories and wait times this week have been grossly exaggerated. 30 min for rise was actually walk on, 110 for flight of passage was 45, etc. Maybe trying to scare the FOMO crowd to purchase LL when it’s not needed. It’s the least crowded I’ve seen it here in about 10 years.

Well, with 7-day-in-advance purchasing, it's impossible to know at that point how crowded or not-crowded the parks are going to be.

Does anyone know if LLMP and LLSP are available during Extended Evening Hours? Or needed, for that matter. Going in mid-October so I hear it's a busier time.

Could you provide more details on your morning plan and what you were trying to change for Haunted Mansion (HM)? Were you referencing the 8:30 AM HM on screenshot 1 or the 11 AM in the Modify selection on screenshot 2?

Did you have any ADRs for the morning time frame?

Dave
Sure. I have the following LLMP:

BTMR 09:40-10:40
Pirates 11:45-12:45
HM 1:30-2:30

ADR for Crystal Palace at 10:20

I took whatever times the system offered me, thinking I could modify them later. We like to be out of the park by about noon, so that HM LLMP isn’t going to work for us.

When I try to modify it, it initially says there’s like an 08:30 or 09:00 time available. When I go through to the next screen, there are no morning times at all.

I don’t remember this happening with G+, but I might have just forgotten or not noticed.

This happened to me over and over this morning during my booking! It still says Rise is available at 9:45am but every time I go farther it gives me mid afternoon instead. I've refreshed many times.

At MK, I can't get speedway before noon on my 8th day (Aug 23) which seems crazy. The first modify screen says I can book at 9am, but when I go in, it's all after noon.

How many in your party? This happened to me on Tuesday in AK and I was wondering if it was individual no shows/modifications.

BTW, never ever cancel an LL. It’s not treated the same as a redemption and you lose one of your 3.
