Yeah I'm not sure if it is watching the number of park days vs number of multipasses if you are staying on site. I thought it basically checks if you are onsite first, and if so lets you book up to 14 days. Then if not staying on-site, then it looks at the ticket type and days etc. Maybe I am mistaken though. We don't go until October so hopefully someone confirms or denies it before then!Good question. I agree that if you have a dated ticket, MDE does not know what days you are going to use that dated ticket. But, if you have a 4-day dated ticket, will MDE let you buy LLMP/LLSPs for 5 days? Maybe, maybe not. I haven't seen any reports from anyone who has tried it. Also, if you buy LLMP for your party day and use only your party ticket to enter the park that day, will MDE let you use your LLMPs that you bought based on having a non-party ticket if you haven't yet used that ticket to enter the park that day? Maybe, maybe not.
If you decide to try it, please let us know how it works out.
It also may be worth sacrificing early booking at the end of the trip as well. Say you wait to book multipass for the last day of the trip until after you use the multipass for the day with the event ticket. Then when you book the last day of the trip you won't have more multipasses than available park ticket days
