Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

Good question. I agree that if you have a dated ticket, MDE does not know what days you are going to use that dated ticket. But, if you have a 4-day dated ticket, will MDE let you buy LLMP/LLSPs for 5 days? Maybe, maybe not. I haven't seen any reports from anyone who has tried it. Also, if you buy LLMP for your party day and use only your party ticket to enter the park that day, will MDE let you use your LLMPs that you bought based on having a non-party ticket if you haven't yet used that ticket to enter the park that day? Maybe, maybe not.

If you decide to try it, please let us know how it works out.
Yeah I'm not sure if it is watching the number of park days vs number of multipasses if you are staying on site. I thought it basically checks if you are onsite first, and if so lets you book up to 14 days. Then if not staying on-site, then it looks at the ticket type and days etc. Maybe I am mistaken though. We don't go until October so hopefully someone confirms or denies it before then!

It also may be worth sacrificing early booking at the end of the trip as well. Say you wait to book multipass for the last day of the trip until after you use the multipass for the day with the event ticket. Then when you book the last day of the trip you won't have more multipasses than available park ticket days

In this case if you are going in October you likely will not have any good selections for your last day for your LLMP.

We are planning the last day to be a full animal kingdom day, so that may be fine. We would see what is available after the MNSSHP day and then decide if it is worth it or if we just want to do rope drop and standby.

If you have valid tickets for MK the day in question and an on-site stay then I think the system will still let you book a multipass on a day when you plan to only use a party ticket right?

I understand they would be able to see if you had a special ticket for the other 3 parks only and no valid ticket for MK. But if you have a combo of season passes with a MK reservation and the more expensive dated tickets (for all 4 parks) and the party falls within the date range then there is no way for them to know if you actually plan on using the dated ticket that morning at MK or not. Because you make the multipass purchase before tapping in for the day and they should be able to see that you do have an eligible ticket for the day.
Yes. We had AP reservations for HS and had an AH ticket and were able to do this with Genie +. We rode Rise, MF:SR, and TSM before the party officially started. This was after they had close the MK loophole I used for MNSSHP. Granted, as I said, this was in Jan and with G+, but I assume they’ll follow the similar protocol.

For example today if you purchased for AK and then hop to MK you could save $9 per person. However as @gottalovepluto pointed out your selections at MK may be very low tier rides unless you refresh like a mad person from the moment you tap in to your first attraction at AK and unlock the ability to select new experiences from any park with tier limits.

I think @2vets covered this but just for completeness. You can book your LLSP at any park in the same date in a single transaction. Limit to 2 LLSP selections per person per day.

You are able to book GoTG and Tron for the same day in the same transaction since you have a park hopper entitlement.

If you are purchasing all for the same day then you can book your LLMP, plus LLSPs for GoTG and Tron all in the same transaction. This would be the fastest method. If splitting LLMP and LLSP for different members of your group, I personally would select your day's LLSP choices first and complete the transaction for just the select members of the group. The LLSP attractions have run out days early for a few dates.

ETA: still learning to spell...

Thanks Dave

Dd wants to do the drone 9/2 but it’s my only mnsshp. Decisions. I think I’ll do that myself.

Boo to you parade is my fav🎃

Rides? We go so often I only need RR, SM, GOTG …. Rest is gravy.

Well that's the last day of the scheduled showing for this season is 9/2 - Disney Dreams That Soar presented by AT&T. The good news is that it runs twice a night at 9:00 PM and 10:45 PM.

Should be doable since you don't have a group of 10. Just make sure to pin your favs to your "My Day" tab (next to the Tip Board. It will save time when you are refreshing. The Tip Board list is Alpabetec you lose time scrolling down the list only BTMR is near the top.

I have noticed that I need to pull down from the top edge longer for the Checking Availability to start and the "Last Updated": message to update. Could be me but wanted to share with others.

How fast are you both using the VQs at 7 AM and 1 PM? Our group has gotten pretty fast and the Tron availability has been hanging around for longer since there are more guests trying for Tiana's VQ.

You can book your lightning lanes across all split stays on one day. I have a 3 resort split coming up in November (for 1 night, 3 nights and then 5 nights. And I've already been told on the day that I can book.I would be able to book across all three reservations based on the length of my tickets.
I'm surprised that LLMP/LLSP is recognizing split stays.
Does anyone know if this works with an AP?
I have a 5 Poly/ 5 BW/ 5 CR split booked. 15 nights is 16 days, so I'm sure I can't include the last two days, but will I actually be able to book the first 14 days when I hit 7 days before Poly check in?

I’m trying to modify my times-but even though it says an earlier time is available-it reverts back to a later time. Anyone have any luck with modifying? Is there a key to it that I don’t know about? Like do you have to cancel your existing ones first to get an earlier time?
I just watched a video and the blogger said the same thing happened to him. He saw a 9:05 (say) Slinky but it wouldn't let him book it. He said the system won't allow you to overlap until you are in the park, so he modified another attraction and was able to snag the Slinky. He said that's why it shows it's available but won't allow you to book it.

It should work just fine based on the reports we have seen here on the thread. The on-site resort stay overrides the limit on AP days. Remember that you are still supposed to have a Park reservation when using an AP unless the days are marked as Good to Go days.

It should work just fine based on the reports we have seen here on the thread. You should be able to book the first 14 days at T-7 and your remaining day on T-6.

Where T = first check-in day.

Does anyone know where I can see the next available Tiana’s booking? Example 10 days out? Or 11? I have another short trip before a cruise and I’m trying to see if I’ll be able to get it or not.

Overlap seems to be working on the day of your visit and not before your visit. No need to be in the park.

Hello -- I have 10 day park hoppers for a split stay starting next week. (4 days Wilderness Lodge /6 days Beach club). I was able to book Multipass for 9 of the 10 days, but for day #3 of the trip its saying "Guest has reached the limit of days they can plan for" and will not let me book either Multipass or Individual Lightning lanes. Anyone else seen this or know how to fix it? I'm not sure why one random day in the middle isn't working....

I did chat with disney yesterday and they told me, 7 days from each checkin. Do you remember where you got your information? I'm so hoping you're right . I wish it was posted somewhere.

Is there another way to pin your faves without using Genie? The only time I did this the My Day screen got inundated with Genie's suggestions and they were impossible to get rid of--delete them and more appeared. Very annoying.

Is it the day you switch resorts? That shouldn’t matter but just a thought.
No, special events do not utilize the skip-the-line systems.

I apologize I’m not sure how that first quote got attached🤷‍♀️

One point I’m not clear on; the day of (7days out) I’ll sign in and go ahead and have my LLMP checked and my party. Is it possible to purchase the LLMP before 7 am or does it all happen together?
