Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

Our first day we plan to go to the resort and hang our until out HS after hours event. However, we have 3 day hoppers. Would we be able to get RotR after 7 even though we don't plan to use a ticket until the next day?
We don't have a confirmation until maybe tomorrow but Disney stopped allowing AH and other party ticket holders to use Genie+ and iLL. This change was made this year in January. So don't expect the new Lightning Lanes LLSP to allow you to grab a RotR for your AH evening.

Yes hopefully the after hours event will not be so overwhelming with crowds. I’ve read reports on both good and bad crowd numbers. We do have our 3rd day as a flex day so I might pick up an LLSP for that day. We are planning to make it a MK day, as we like to do party things at the party and come back another time for the rides and attractions.

I am parkhopping. May a book the initial 3 LLs at different parks?

I suspect the answer is buried in this thread but it's a yes or no question.

Thank you!
Denise
While your first 3 have to be all at the same park, once you tap into the first one you should be able to modify the other two to a different park plus get one more.

I’m trying to modify my times-but even though it says an earlier time is available-it reverts back to a later time. Anyone have any luck with modifying? Is there a key to it that I don’t know about? Like do you have to cancel your existing ones first to get an earlier time?

Dd and I snuck in a last genie trip last week. We are pros with that . Trying to ready myself for Sept trip.

Buying a cheaper park and hopping to MK would save money?

Looks like you can only book ILL like Tron only for the park you start with? Have to wait until you use one to book those ?

Ex book Epcot with GOTG and have to wait to book Tron? When ?

Something popped up in my head today as a possible loophole to not being able to use a party ticket to book LLSP for Tron or LLMP for the 4-6 hours.

I have an AP, but my traveling companion purchased the 3 day/3 park special (and we both purchased the MNSSHP ticket). So technically, she has a valid ticket for that day. I'm wondering if the system is smart enough (it probably is) to recognize that she doesn't have MK admission with the type of ticket she is.

Has anyone else tried this yet? I guess I'll know for sure when my booking window opens soon, but I was curious if anyone else tried this.

I checked to see if I could book amy lightning lanes at all for a person with only ticket media for the party that day and it would not allow it. The system will stop them from being eligible for any llmp or single ride purchases that day

You can buy them both at the same time, but it looks like not at the same time as LLMP. My plan is to purchase LLMP first and then, assuming I want to buy two LLSP in different parks, buy them as a separate transaction.

Anyone recently book LLMP with a split stay? I read the first few days they were allowing you to book the entire stay if your ticket was long enough, rather than splitting it into 2 separate stays with 2 separate 7 day windows. Has anyone tried this recently? Any update or report? I book on 8/15 for our 9 day stay (4 nights Poly, 5 nights GF) and I'm concerned about not being able to book the entire lenght of stay. I do have a 9 day date based ticket starting on the day of our arrival.

You can book your lightning lanes across all split stays on one day. I have a 3 resort split coming up in November (for 1 night, 3 nights and then 5 nights. And I've already been told on the day that I can book.I would be able to book across all three reservations based on the length of my tickets.

I saw the pricing for LLMP and LLSP for launch day. I assume they've remained the same since then, but is there a post thread or website where someone is tracking that info?

As long as you’re cool with selections like Barnstormer and IASW. Availability is rather lousy with this new system so nobody recommends this. There is a very good reason Disney didn’t charge for multi-park LL abilities.

Thanks ladies. I was hoping i could at least buy the LLSP for 2 parks. GRRR we love to hop I hope this doesnt mess things up.

If you watched Molly's video, it looks like it should be fine, but I will say, I always loved G+ more than legacy FP+. I'll report back soon, you know I'm all about hopping.

They have not stayed the same, they are dynamic like G+. They are being priced very similar to G+ for now. For planning purposes if you aren’t going soon you are probably better off looking at G+ prices for your dates last year.

If you have valid tickets for MK the day in question and an on-site stay then I think the system will still let you book a multipass on a day when you plan to only use a party ticket right?

I understand they would be able to see if you had a special ticket for the other 3 parks only and no valid ticket for MK. But if you have a combo of season passes with a MK reservation and the more expensive dated tickets (for all 4 parks) and the party falls within the date range then there is no way for them to know if you actually plan on using the dated ticket that morning at MK or not. Because you make the multipass purchase before tapping in for the day and they should be able to see that you do have an eligible ticket for the day.

I can confirm you can buy LLSP for more than 1 park a day. We have a 2 day stay next week and are doing all 4 parks. We booked GoG and ROR for day 1, and Tron and FOP for day 2.

For example today if you purchased for AK and then hop to MK you could save $9 per person. However as @gottalovepluto pointed out your selections at MK may be very low tier rides unless you refresh like a mad person from the moment you tap in to your first attraction at AK and unlock the ability to select new experiences from any park with tier limits.

I think @2vets covered this but just for completeness. You can book your LLSP at any park in the same date in a single transaction. Limit to 2 LLSP selections per person per day.

Ex book Epcot with GOTG and have to wait to book Tron? When ?
You are able to book GoTG and Tron for the same day in the same transaction since you have a park hopper entitlement.

You can buy them both at the same time, but it looks like not at the same time as LLMP. My plan is to purchase LLMP first and then, assuming I want to buy two LLSP in different parks, buy them as a separate transaction.
If you are purchasing all for the same day then you can book your LLMP, plus LLSPs for GoTG and Tron all in the same transaction. This would be the fastest method. If splitting LLMP and LLSP for different members of your group, I personally would select your day's LLSP choices first and complete the transaction for just the select members of the group. The LLSP attractions have run out days early for a few dates.

ETA: still learning to spell...

Good question. I agree that if you have a dated ticket, MDE does not know what days you are going to use that dated ticket. But, if you have a 4-day dated ticket, will MDE let you buy LLMP/LLSPs for 5 days? Maybe, maybe not. I haven't seen any reports from anyone who has tried it. Also, if you buy LLMP for your party day and use only your party ticket to enter the park that day, will MDE let you use your LLMPs that you bought based on having a non-party ticket if you haven't yet used that ticket to enter the park that day? Maybe, maybe not.

If you decide to try it, please let us know how it works out.
