Only a few others and I believe those got to book Fastpass+ early too. The Swan, Dolphin and Shades of Green were always treated special.Except that on-site still includes other hotels.
That's right. So stacking after your initial three will no longer be a thing. Should even the playing field a bit, if people can't just stack passes all day.Under Fastpass+, you pre-booked three and then had to tap into all three before you could book one more. You then had to tap into that before booking another, etc.
I'm glad this is happening soon, well before my next trip. We are currently at Dolphin this fall and I would expect S/D to make the cut again for onsite benefits but if not, will definitely need to change plans.Only a few others and I believe those got to book Fastpass+ early too. The San, Dolphin and Shades of Green were always treated special.
Yes, it seems you'll only be able to hold a maximum of 3 LL passes at one time. Similar to the old, free Fast Pass system.Tried looking on the website but they don't go into details. Does that mean if you pre-select 3 rides for the afternoon, you can't make any Lightning Lane selections until you've used at least 1 of your pre-selects?
I haven’t seen anything on AP holders. I assume though onsite APs will be able to purchase/book ahead of time, rightSuper curious how annual passholders feel about the change. Genie+ was great in the sense that it (with a few exceptions) put everybody on a level playing field every morning. It was great for people who don't like to plan their park days too far in advance.
There won't be any left for the day after you use your first one anyway, so this is pretty much a moot point.I wonder if they will allow you to make a pass (what do I even call it anymore) for the same ride again, after you use your first 3! That would be HUGE!
"You can make one at a time until regular park closing (subject to availability). If your park admission includes Park Hopper benefits, you can even choose a Lightning Lane Multi Pass experience in a different theme park."Not so sure about this...one of the best parts of Genie+ was stacking for the evening which I know you can still do, but will not have use of during the day. Also, don't like that there is not multi-park use. No real need for park hoppers now.
I think the there will also be a price increase. We are going on July 27th - not looking forward to all the glitches that you know will happen. I think for us, there will be less value. Wish they'd have waited until after 1st of the year.
just that they charge you now, progress!Seems like a nice step forward to the past, LOL
Once you tap in for your first ride, you should be able to book another based on availability. So is this capped at 3 rides for the multi? Meaning you cant get more once your in the park?
I agree, but when I hear “multipass” all i think of is herThe name change has me dancing .... the whole Genie+ (Aladdin) using the Lighting Lane (Cars) has driven me nuts since day one. MADE NO SENSE!!! Thank you Disney for finally fixing this error!!!
Overall reading through it, took a few years, but I think they might have finally gotten it right function (and name) wise.
