Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

So my question is, do I need to do something, or when we get to Jan. 3 will we automatically be able to book for our onsite stay that starts Jan. 10?
First you can't see anyone as eligible until 21 days out since that's the calendar window.

Next your tickets start before your actual reservation so different rules apply for different dates. For now since your tickets start on January 5th you can only purchase 3 days in advance for your lenght of tickets or up to 14 days. That is what you are seeing today.

Once you get to Jan. 3rd you should you should be able to book for Jan. 10th for up to 14 days. You can't book for January 8-9 before Saturday January 5th.

Does that make sense?

Yes, thanks, I feel better now that you’ve confirmed it will recognize our stay at 7 days before checkin.

This may be a dumb question, but since I am able to book my ADR's on the mydisneyexperience website on my lap top, can I also book LLMP's and LLSP's on my lap top? I hate working on a small screen.

Short answer is No. Longer answer is Disney decided not to build the new LLPP, LLMP and/or LLSP Function in to the Web based MDE.

That is very annoying to all of us middle age+ people who prefer larger screens due to poor eyesight and years of habits. I get that we need an app, card, or magic band to scan at the parks, but why not make purchases possible on the website? And of course the app is not available on my amazon tablet.

My basic understanding is....

Maintaining a website is far more challenging. Behind the scenes, websites behave differently in Edge and Chrome and Safari and.... - so, each time a website update happens they need to code and test it on many different platforms.

An app is generated by a company and does not need to be tested/updated other than for iOS and android - which is still work.

Hi all. Our first trip after the switch from Genie + to LLMP/LLSP is coming up February 17-22, 2025. On February 10th - which park should I make LLMP selections for first? We’re doing Epcot 2/18, AK 2/19, HS 2/20, and MK 2/21. It looks like crowds will be heavier that week (it’s school vacation for us here up in New England). I was thinking do Epcot first to get Remy and then quick switch to MK for JC or Peter Pan? Not as worried about AK or HS. Going to try to get VQ for Tiana and GOTG day of. I’m sure this question has been asked before. I looked for it but couldn’t locate 😁

Sorry if this has been asked, I did try to find if it was and didn’t see.

With the new multi pass, the site says only after using the first pass can you select others. Under genie it was the first pass OR two hours after park opening. (Something like that). If we have our first multi pass time at 1pm, does that really mean we can’t make any additional selections until we ride at 1pm now?

The old Genie+ 2 hour rule is gone. Yes you must enter a park and tap in at your First attraction and then you are able to make additional LLMP attraction selections and Tiers (Groups) are no longer limited.

If you have Park Hopper tickets, once you tap in to your first attraction you are able to make additional LLMP selections in other parks. All additional selections are made 1 at a time since you can maintain a rolling max of 3 attractions.

Thanks. That’s quite the disincentive to book your first ride later in the day. Makes the pass worth less if you later decide to go earlier in the day. Given December weather we booked first rides closer to noon to let it warm up if it’s cold.

Just to be clear…tap your first attraction means your first reservation not just any attraction?

Yes, your first LLMP reservation tap opens up access to additional tier 1s as well as park hopping. (Note that this does NOT apply the multi experience passes. Using an MEP does not open hopping and additional tier 1s. When an LLMP converts to MEP, it's like it never existed. You can book an additional LLMP subject to the park and tier rules you are currently under but having or using and MEP does not change open the day.)

This system definitely incentivizes earlier entry as you can start pulling more high demand passes earlier in the day.

If you decide to go to your selected park earlier you can "Modify" any of your 3 selections to an earlier time if there are available return times. You can also switch your park / attraction group before entering the park.

It must be one of the attractions (normally your earliest) you selected with your LLMP. That's the only way to unlock the additional functions.

Yes guests have tried having 2 people sharing a single MDE account and have experienced issues transactions failing, wrong attractions selected and even payments being declined and Credit Cards marked as Fraud locked by your provider.

You really want to have a second MDE account. Yes there can be some complications with setting up the second account but those details are for another post.
Hello, I had one more follow up question on this as it pertains to booking the initial LL for the LLMP. I was able to setup a second MDE account for the other adult in the group using the invite and connection settings. They can now see all of the reservations and make modifications. But my question was whether anyone had experienced any issues with two MDE accounts using the same credit card while trying to simultaneously book LLMPs for different days. We generally only use that card, but if its a potential problem, we can just use something else. Thanks!

Yes there have been multiple reports of Credit card issues when multiple guests are trying to book LLMP and/or LLSP purchases at the same time even if you are booking for different days using the same Credit Card. It is the rapid purchases over a short period that appears to be the issue.

It is just like having 2 people make multiple online purchases at the same time or very closely together within seconds or a minute or two. It is not an issue in MDE but with the Credit Card services processing and Fraud detection systems flagging possible Fraud activity.

If possible it is best to have 2 payment methods in each MDE account profile before you try to purchase your LLMP and/or LLSP lists at 7 AM ET. You are worried about getting your attractions, modifying the return times and even second guessing your daily plans. You don't want to have issues with your transactions not completing.

Thanks, Dave! I will definitely add additional payment methods!

Are the VQs for Tiana's an GoG easy to get, or do I need to consider them for a LLMP selection over Christmas week? Would Tron be a decent buy as an individual paid LL?
Just this week GOTG was gone in like a couple sevonds each time I tried. If it matters LL, extra benefit is much shorter line when you do the ride.

Hello! I am able to purchase LLMP on Sunday. I have never bought it during a super busy time before, and I am concerned I will purchase it and then not have good rides/times available. Can you view what is available before you purchase it?

Yes before you actually complete your purchase LLMP and/or LLSP you are able to modify your selections and the return times.

Your selections are held for 5 minutes for you to complete the purchase. If you don't like the selections available you don't need to complete the purchase.
