Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

How hard is it to get Remy and Frozen on the same day? For example, if I book Remy in advance and have a 9am "throwaway" to Pixar or the Land or something, how likely will I be able to get Frozen? If I am willing to refresh throughout the day?

I'm not sure if its worth it to pay for LLMP just to get Remy. That's essentially LLSP pricing and I don't think Remy alone is worth that. It doesn't really seem like you really need it for any of the other rides.

Thoughts?

If planning to attend Early Entry, you want to arrive at the park entrance 40 minutes before Early Entry starts.

If entering from the Main Entrance, make Remy your T1 LLMP and Frozen your Early Entry attraction.
You can also use this strategy if not purchasing LLMP, but you will probably have a 40-60 minute wait for Remy if you get in line before the park opening.

If no Early Entry then Frozen as the T1 LLMP as it is easier to get Remy LLMP during your visiting day compared to Frozen.

Is it possible and not too complicated to book different rides for different people within the group, as it was with the old FP+ (or at least it was when we last went to Disney during the FP+ testing phase)? Specifically, I would like to when adding additional rides after using the first. I assumed yes because obviously family members have different interests/heights/etc, but the questions and answers here are making me question that.

We are trying to determine the best way to be ready to get the next LLMP for our group of 10 when the circumstance occurs that 3 people (1 under 3 and 2 over 65) won't ride.

The one under 3 won't have LL - they're free/not ticketed.

For the other 2, I guess the best thing to do would be to book them, but have them scan in with you at the ride so it unlocks your ability to start booking other tier ones for everyone. Once you've done that though, don't actually book them for any other rides they're not riding. - You will have the option each time on who to select.

No early entry, we are staying offsite. So it’s easier to get a Remy LLMP day of rather than Frozen? Is that due to more refills/easier to refresh?

Just got back from my trip and was surprised at how smoothly the new system worked. Going in I got pretty good reservations for all my days and a good plan of attack.

One thing I noticed about the system, especially in regards to MK, is that it does seem to make you need to "chase" reservation times more than genie+ did. Previously, we would start our day in tomorrowland, and work our way counterclockwise around the park scheduling our reservations. However, with the new lightning lane and times being booked up sooner, it seemed like we couldnt stick to that strategy as much as we would like, which resulted in more backtracking than usual (granted this was also on a party day so rides were running out of times much more quickly).

Additionally, we got really screwed over in AK. Our fist ride was scheduled to be at Dinosaur at 8 am, and it was down for hours leaving us unable to scan in and make a new selection. We eventually made the decision to unbook it and choose a different ride, but it really shows how the system gets really messed up when youre unable to scan in for a ride. The safari being down until like 9am didnt help our plans either. We ended up riding yeti twice in a row, and then walked around and got breakfast before scanning in for yeti for a 3rd time which let us start booking again.

Did my LLMPs and LLSPs this morning and was successful in getting what I wanted for 6 of my 7 days. I left one day open briefly for whatever rides I still needed without choosing the park until I assessed my other days.

When Dinosaur was down at your return time, you should have been given a Multiple Experience Pass (MEP, aka anytime pass, experience redemption, and by other names) and been allowed to book another LLMP to replace Dinosaur. I'm surprised you had to "unbook" it in order to choose a different ride.

Sorry for a dumb/likely repetitive question, but if I have linked my planning party members in MDE, can anyone in the party make a fourth or subsequent LLMP reservation in the app for everyone in the group? My kids are big so we each have our own MDE accounts.

thats good to know for next time, but from what I recall I dont remember getting a notice or anything about getting a new pass. From what I recall, my dinosaur booking just stayed as it was.

We werent in a super rush anyways as we were justing hanging out at animal kingdom before heading to universal for horror nights. If it was the type of thing where we wanted to make reservations for park hopping later in the day, I probably wouldve went to guest services to talk about it.

Yes, whenever someone makes a LLMP reservation, the app will ask them who to include as part of the booking. So if everyone is linked together, anyone in the group can make that next reservation for everyone (they just have to make sure to select everyone when making the booking).

I have a question about the charges made today for my LLMPs and LLSPs. I had planned to use a Disney Gift Card to pay for all of them but the system said that "Gift Cards could not be processed at this time" so I charged them to the credit card I have on file for my visit.

My question is: Can I still pay with my Gift Card once at my hotel?

TIA

Scoured many of these but not all 230+...we have 1 park day. Park hopping between HS and EP. Will buy ROR and GOG. Understanding they no longer offer a multi park LL but you can book in another park after you use your first LLMP...

In a perfect world, we want to do these rides (in no particular order other than park order...)

Soarin
Remy

Slinky
RNR
MFSR
Runaway Rail
TOT
TSM

Have a 5pm dinner reservation in EP and want to do fireworks there so planning to do HS first.

Will buy the LLMP...is there a "here is the order to book" list out there somewhere? For reference, this is a Saturday (10/26) and we are staying on property. We will be there for early entry rope drop...

Any suggestions/tips/best practices? What would you do??? Appreciate the advice!

I did something similar a couple weeks ago. Slinky is going to be the hardest one to get on the LLMP. I did EE and hit RNR, then had LLMP for Star Tours at 0900, Rise SP at 1000, MFSR at 11 and Slinky at noon. As soon as I tapped into Star Tours I started booking LL at MK, getting BTMR, HM, and Pirates.
