Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

My question is indirectly related to LLMP. Staying offsite and Monday is my Epcot day. Could not get Remy when I booked this morning, so want to rope drop from IG. My question is what is the best place to request an Uber to drop me off to be closest to IG?
First of all, remember that onsite guests will have early entry privileges, so the standby line for Remy might be pretty hefty by the time you get there no matter what. That said, to avoid the possibility of having your rideshare turned away from a Disney resort because you don’t have a reservation there, have them drop you off at the Swan. Walk through the lobby, out the back door, and you can choose to wait for the boat to Epcot or cross the bridge to BW and walk to IG from there.

Additional question. Wife has never ridden Skyliner. Assume we'd have the same Gate Entry problem at Riviera if we wanted Uber to drop us there.

Yes you will be turned away from the Rivera in the morning without an ADR. If you want to ride the Skyliner to Epcot ask the RS to drop you off at HS parking lot and take the Skyliner from there to the IG at Epcot.

The seven day window for booking does it include the first day or is it 7 full days before? My first day is 11/11 so I’m trying to figure out if 11/4 or 11/5 would be the day I can start booking my fast passes

The easiest way to figure out what the 7-day-in-advance day is: If your first day is a Monday, then the 7th day before that is also a Monday. IOW, it's always the exact same day of the week, a week earlier.

I figured this out (not a hard thing to figure!) because I was also confused about how WDW counted the days.

You can try to go ahead and purchase them in the app. When you try, it’ll let you know the exact day and time your party is eligible. And it is based on the day you check-in.

DFB says you can chat to fix the glitch where someone in a party doesn’t have their window open at the proper time. We’ve only seen this a couple times so it’s rare & those folks called. I’m glad Disney gave chat support access to help with LL stuff. Link (they are very click-baity 🙄)

Will be using a combo of early entry and LLMP for a morning in Epcot in early December. We will be entering through International Gateway.

Should I just see which ride (Remy vs Frozen) has the earlier time available for a LLMP at my 7day booking window? Or is one better to rope drop than the other at EE?

We’d like to use a combo of early entry and LLMP to ride Remy, Frozen and Soarin and maybe one other ride, have a quick snack then hop to AK mid day. I know we can only book one tier 1, and I think it will be fine, once we scan into one tier 2 or throw away we will start booking our rides for AK.

Rope drop Remy. There is a chance it won’t be open but you have no chance of rope dropping Frozen from IG with all the people from the front of the park ahead of you, especially with TT down.

Booked all my Lightning Lanes this morning for my 7-day trip and got everything I wanted. Even Remy at 5:50 the night I arrive, and Tiana my fifth day at the exact time I wanted.

The process was smooth and easy with no glitches. I did most of my modifying before purchase to overlap LLs a little get better times, then went back and in made some minor tweaks later after plugging everything into my Touring Plans.

Overall this system seems like a big improvement over previous iterations. Love having a good touring strategy in advance. Hate the price, but that is what it is.

So sorry if this has already been discussed. We have a package with 7 day tickets and staying at a WDW resort. My sister can get us those 7 day tickets for a little cheaper through her employer. If we change our package to room only, then link the new tickets to our reservation in the My Disney App, do we still get to make our LL 7 days ahead like anyone else that has a package?

Yes because the 7 day advanced purchase is available to all guests staying on-site. It does not require a package. A Room Only (RO) reservation and separate tickets work the same as a package.

Dave, that makes sense. Thanks a lot.

Def. rope drop Remy. - Even if they say its not open/has delayed opening; still rope drop it. - Often times it matter of mins. before it's open.

Does your Valid Theme Park dates determine the date you can purchase lightening lanes? Our tickets are valid starting 11/03/24 so thinking we can purchase on 10/27.
Can anyone in your friends and family purchase them? Thinking we divide and conquer.

No not on when you can book but the specific park days that you can select. The key date is based on when your resort stay begins. But yes you can only book for park days that you have a valid ticket.

Our tickets are valid starting 11/03/24 so thinking we can purchase on 10/27.
If you are staying at an on-site resort you can book up to 7 days before your resort stay begins. So if your resort stay starts on 11/3 then yes you can book beginning on 10/27 for up to 14 days starting on 11/3. If you are off-site then it is 3 days advanced purchased for your park day(s).

Can anyone in your friends and family purchase them? Thinking we divide and conquer.
Yes anyone linked correctly to your Friends & Family list and using their own MDE account. For all members of your party using MDE make sure that you have your payment selection(s) properly setup in MDE before your purchase morning.

It sounds like you have date-based tickets, but are you staying onsite or offsite? For those staying onsite (Disney resorts, Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve and Shades of Green), you can purchase LLMP/LLSP seven days (one week) before your hotel check-in date. You can then purchase for length of hotel stay up to 14 days. That is October 27 (at 7:00 AM Eastern time) if the hotel stay begins November 3. For those staying offsite (i.e. anywhere else) with date-based tickets. you can purchase LLMP/LLSP three days before the start date of your tickets. If the tickets have a start date of November 3, that is October 31 (at 7:00 AM Eastern time). You can then purchase for the total number of valid admission days on the ticket. You can make purchases for anyone in your Family & Friends who is eligible, so dividing up who does the purchasing is a good idea.

And will getting to IG by 8am be sufficient if Earlh Entry officially starts at 8:30? We planned on leaving the Swan at 7:45 and walking over.

I have a complicated (at least to me) situation that I can't quote figure out - hoping that someone - @Dave006 ??- could help me out.

I have 3 single complimentary non date based park hopper tickets that I plan to use on my trip at the end of January.

I understand that I need to make Park Pass Reservations for the days that I intend to use these tickets and have already done so.

My question is this - do my park pass reservation and the park at which I make my first lightning lanes with Multipass have to be the same?

For example, on one of my days, I am planning to do all 4 parks in one day. My plan is to start at Animal Kingdom and that is where I have my park pass reservation. I would prefer (if possible) to make my 3 starting LLMP at my 2nd park, DHS as I only plan to be at AK long enough (7:30 early entry) to do FOP, NRJ and KS before hopping to DHS.

Can this be done? Or will I have to make my OG LLMP at DAK?

TIA for the help!
