Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

I am not an expert at deciphering Thrill Data, but if I'm reading it correctly, it seems that 3 days out at 7am (for offsite guests), both Remy and Tiana are available if you do not care what time you get?
Remy yes, Tiana no. Tiana has a fluke of availability on 8/20 but then it’s gone until 8/28 so you would need long tickets to get Tiana link

ETA- lol that 8/20 fluke of a spot is already gone

I just booked our LLs and everything went perfectly! The system gave me the exact times I was hoping for without any modifying.

I booked LLMP for MK - 7+2 days out:
Winnie 9:30-10:30
HM 10:30-11:30
Tiana 2:40-3:40

and then LLSP for Epcot - 7+1 days out:
GOTG 9:15-10:15

No glitches happened as others had reported. Hopefully things have been fixed. I only got an email confirmation for one of my bookings, but I can see all my reservations when I'm on the app and I see that my credit card was charged for both bookings, so I'm not worried.

Overall, this was a great experience! Thanks everyone for all your reports this past month!
Thanks for the update. I pick my LLMPs on Thursday and am pretty nervous about Tiana. That is the only ride we want to get an LLMP for. (I asked my granddaughters what their must dos were, and they both said Tiana - drat) I know we can get a VQ and that may have to be the back up plan for this trip as we have been pretty successful in the past getting VQs. We are going to the party but want to use our time for characters and the special events. I have to admit I was pretty freaked out when I looked at Thrill Data and saw Tiana totally booked until 8/27. Looking at the data, there is a mass of people arriving between the 21st and the 25th.

If you’re just looking at Tiana I wouldn’t read anything into that, it’s been pretty common since the system launched for Tiana to not see availability for 9-10 days out.

I've been watching the data for a while too and saw the lack of availability you're talking about. I will say this, the times didn't look great when I checked yesterday on ThrillData for the days I wanted to book, but when I actually booked today, there were more times. They must have added more. Like I said, I had a great experience when booking today. And this was for a family of 4.

When you say it won't allow any overlapping for ADRs, how soon after your reservation time will it allow you to book a MPLL? Is it accounting for an hour to eat? So if my ADR is at 12:00, it won't allow me to book a MPLL until 1:00-2:00? or is it even longer than that?
At MK on Friday I had an ILL (Tron) that had a 15 minute overlap (end time) with my lunch ADR. I booked my next LLMP for 1.5 hours after my ADR (because it was the Plaza which I heard was slow and ride was Space so wanted time to digest anyway, planned on doing CoP, PeopleMover or Buzz 1st) but it gave me time options that were closer. Maybe 45 minutes? I can't remember because I didn't want those (this was day of booking after initial LLMP)

That makes more sense, thanks! I'm trying to plan out for when I book in a couple of weeks so I'll try and adjust some ADRs now so it goes more smoothly :)

We are 5, but I may take it down to 3 if that means more availability. Thank you!

Today is 7 days from my check in. We're going to MK 9 days from today.
Sounds like you may have answered the question I wanted to ask. Even though you're checking in in 7 days, you're not planning to use LLMP until your second park day. But you still could reserve at 7 days from check in. I only want to use LLMP at one park (just wing it elsewhere), and I don't plan to go to that park until day 3 (checking in Saturday, park where I'll buy LLMP on Tuesday). Do I do everything (buy LLMP, make LLMP reservations) 7 days before Saturday or 7 days before Tuesday? Sounds like 7 days before Saturday.

You can do it all 7 days before Saturday! Have fun!

It is simple. Your 7 day advance purchase window is 7 days before your Resort stay start day for lenght of stay or 14 days. In your specific example you are able to purchase your LLMP for your Tuesday park visit 7 days before your Saturday as you posted above.

Can someone let me know where my plan is likely to fail:
  1. Rope drop FOP using early entry
  2. Everest using Standby
  3. Tiana via LL
  4. Tron via VQ/LLSP
  5. 7DMT via LLSP
  6. Guardians via LLSP/VQ
My worry is the return time for Tiana, Tron, 7DMT, and Guardians. My understanding is for Tron they are very strict about being there in the window but what about the others? If I had to drop one of the four it would be 7DMT.
I'll fill in the rest of the day with tier 2 and then try to refresh into something better if I can once I tap in. I'd like to get over to HS as well and do SDD or RR but that's just too much to plan for.

You will only be able to purchase 2 LLSP's in the same day so you will need one of the VQ's for sure. Do you just have a single day? Tiana is nearly impossible to get without a long stay.

Yes only one day.
If we can't get a LL for Tiana we could try the VQ for that (assuming it exists still). I need to look at thrill data to check on the VQs, I'd like to use the LLSP on 7DMT but if I mess up and don't get the VQ for Tron I'll be in big trouble.

Oh no! I was planning to use our Disney Visa Rewards card, now that it can be linked to MDE like a credit card. I hope this won't be a problem.
I’m playing catch up so someone may have answered, but just in case they have not, we purchased 5 days of lightning lanes both single and multi with our rewards redemption card with no issues.

Thanks for the update and the confirmation that a Disney Rewards redemption card worked. Was it accepted as an option or did you need to paste your Card Number in the transaction?

Ugh, so in 197 pages I've missed this (sorry!) ...

I have an AP (with resort stay) so I need park reservations. Can I make LLMPs in a park different from my park reservation? I want to start the day in Epcot (don't need LLs) and end in HS (def need LLs), but I'm not sure if my park res and LLMP need to match.

see, I see way more people complaining about MPLL than praising. So far, the evidence at least here shows that Genie plus was a superior product FOR MOST families

I think for most *in the know* families it is an inferior product. If you're on Disboards, you likely had an idea of what you were doing with Genie+ and could maximize it.

My guess is for most not in the know families who know enough to book 3 or 7 days out but not enough to maximize the system, MPLL is at least as good as Genie+. They probably get their 3 lightening lanes and are happy to go about their day.

Yes you can make your LL in your second park if you can park hop and as an AP you can. The only restriction is that your 3 prebook LL must be in the same park.
