Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

Struggling to modify times that I’ve booked this morning. Booked on 8.10 for 8.17, 8.18, 8.19, 8.24, and 8.30. Can only tweak times for 8.17. Hard to believe that there are ‘no other times’ for Pirates 20 days out.

Resolved: user error. I had forgotten to make park reservations for some of those days.

Does someone want to ride RNRC twice? Is there a ride you would rather ride by yourself? If not you can simply cancel your LL right now and just carry 2 LLs. After they tap, yes you can go get MMRR or any other ride. You can also try to modify to an earlier time for your other LLs. We had success with this. Our ADR was causing issues, pushing times later than we wanted.
Could you cancel during the window, leaving the option for a rider swap? I feel like I saw somewhere that you cannot cancel once the window starts.

I have an AP, so I have to make park reservations.

Let's say I have a park reservation for Epcot and 7 days in advance (I'm staying on-site) I make my LLMPs for Epcot in the late afternoon, since I want to start that day late.

Then I get to WDW and on my late-Epcot day I decide I want to go to DAK in the morning. My question is this: If I switch my park reservation that day to DAK will I then lose all the LLMPs I booked at Epcot? BTW, I would not be using or even want to use LLMPs at DAK.

I realize that if it's a good-to-go day it's no problem, but what if it isn't?

This is not an issue. The LLMP selections are not tied to your Park reservation. You only need a Park reservation to match your first Park you enter with your AP.

Oh, that's great! Thanks so much for answering--and so quickly!

I'm actually thinking of doing this exact thing on one of our Epcot days because we have a 4 pm ADR and I thought we'd just start our Epcot day there, but I know me and I'm going to want to go to DAK that morning, especially since we're staying at AKL this coming trip.

Yes you can just cancel during the window. I had a hard time finding it. I could find the modify easily, but as I was the only one needing to modify it would separate me out from the rest of my group. I can't exactly remember, but I think I could only modify when I was in the Tip Board, but when I went to Lightning Lane Passes under the hamburger menu, it allowed me to cancel. I hope that makes sense!

But if I'm not going to any park before 2PM I can skip the reservations altogether, right? Regardless of if I'm advance purchasing LLMP/SP? (unless it's MK on Sat/Sun)

edited to add: (these park res are a pita)

Yeah if staying on site with a annual pass, you can book 7 days in advance for a stay of up to 14 days but can only make 5 park reservations? What about the rest of the days? Can you book for a day hoping that reservations will still be open once you use one of your 5 already reserved days? And what if it's not available once you use one of the 5 days?

Seeing reports of guests having issues using disney gift cards for mp/sp. One person I was talking to said he had put enough money on his gift card to cover his seven day tickets. By the time he went to purchase his fifth day, gift card services shut the gc down for fraud (multiple errors when try to pay) He said he was on the phone with them trying to get it sorted for over an hour with them stating that it would take 48 hours to unlock the card. He did state he fought to get immediate access to his money but was wondering if anybody else was having this sort of issue. I was planning on using strictly a gift card since credit cards have been having issues, now it looks like this seems to be a problem too.

Correct if you don't plan to visit before 2 PM then no Park reservations are required with the exception of MK on weekends as you indicted in your post.

No there is no 5 Park day reservation limit if you are staying on-site. You can even have 14 days + up to your 5 days of AP floating Park reservations.

Annual Passholders staying at Disney Resort hotels or other select hotels are eligible to make theme park reservations for each day of their Resort stay(s). This is in addition to holding their maximum number of theme park reservations at a time on a rolling basis.

I want to use LLMP on only one day of my trip, just at one park, and that's not until the fourth day of my trip. I have an AP, so I assume I can't make my selections until I have a theme park reservation for that park. And then when can I make my LLMP reservations? Is it still on the 7th day before my resort check in, even though that day is 11 days before I go to that park and use LLMP for the one and only time? Or do I have to wait until 7 days before I will use LLMP, which is 7-4=3 days before my resort check in?

Oh no! I was planning to use our Disney Visa Rewards card, now that it can be linked to MDE like a credit card. I hope this won't be a problem.

I'm keeping an eye out to see how it goes since I'm not due to make my reservations for the multipass till October 31st. If I have to I guess I'll spread my money across 3 different gift cards hoping that won't be an issue. But I'm hoping Disney is working on something because this isn't just an isolated problem, many people are having their credit cards flagged for fraud because of all of these multiple payments being done so quickly.

There is not much Disney can do other then improvements to reduce any errors on their backend systems that may be happening during the Check-out process.

The Fraud detection systems used by the various Payment processors won't be impacted by anything Disney does on their backend systems.
