Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

I wonder if Disney will be releasing day of LL. I went in just to peek at times for DHS and TSM is into the late afternoon yet RnRC is in the morning.

You can modify once you book. Modify button looks the same as FP+. Pending availability.
Okay. Still can't seem to find how to modify once I purchased. Will keep looking.

*Edited to add I can see how to modify the day and park but not how to keep the same park and just change times.

I was also curious as to what happens if you don't use the first booked lightning lane. Are you able to book another one when that time expires?

This is NOT confirmation, but with Genie+LL, Disney was very lenient when it came to scanning in your LL later than the return window. I have seen people be 2-8 hours late and still be accepted.

This could help the guest who does not want to rope drop, prefers to stack and lets a MLL expire so they can book their next LL.

Click the hamburger menu in bottom right corner of the app, then choose the LL tile. They should all show up there. You can then "manage" your selections.

My specific question about park hopping is the different pricing… if I start in AK and pay $17 (priced that for a random day in August), use all my passes, then decide to hop to MK - will I have to pay the $10 difference (MK at $27 for the date I was looking at) or will it still be $17?

In my opinion, all parks should be priced the same for park hopping… because this makes no sense.
If true, and if you have park hopper tickets, could guests intentionally purchase MPLL for the less expensive park? Book an attraction nearest the park entrance, tap in to that attraction, leave that park, and hop to another more expensive park. Is it a stretch to say guests can actually “get paid” to experience It’s Tough To Be A Bug or Spaceship Earth? Is this the “Disney math” I’ve been reading about?

This seems odd to me as well- I purchased AK for 7/30 but plan to hop over to HS so I am hoping it just works- now there may not be anything available at HS I guess but there is no option to purchase that for the same day- I don't think. This is for sure a question that needs tested. Of course my trip starts too soon so I had to buy something. I was happy with how easy the system worked to purchase- GO Disney for having their IT on point today!

Does anyone know how to modify a multipass for the number of people it is reserved for? I know how to modify times, but I booked one of my passes for all four members of our group and only two want to ride. I am wanting to book a different ride for two of the people....

Sure you can, but you are losing valuable rope drop time on a bus. 🤷‍♀️

Maybe they will bring back the “Change Party” function? One can only hope.

I have read this entire thread and am still confused.

Let's say I book Slinky Dog 4-5 pm, Tower of Terror 9-10 am, Toy Story Mania 10-11 am.

Then I use ToT at 9:30 am. Can I immediately get another Tier 1 LL, like RNRC? Could I potentially hold 3 Tier 1s at the same time?

I really hope Disney is holding back time slots for day of bookings. If not, I am not sure of the LLMP value. There seemed to be less of a selection of time slots than with Genie+-perhaps they are holding back.

Driving me bonkers that my first scan in for HS is 9:30. I should have done more modifying but it was my first pass through and I didn't fully understand it. I feel like having that 9am scan in is key for HS.

I'm also telling myself that the number of people truly optimizing the system is going to be low...

I was able to get everything I wanted at the general times I wanted without a problem. Did some modifying during and after booking without a problem. I booked my Magic Kingdom park first because we really want to go on Tiana. I was also able to book in the early afternoon at HS for July 30 even though my park reservation is for MK which I am planning on rope dropping. Happy to say everything went smooth. I am anxious to see how a day of reservation goes later in the trip. Not quite sure if and where I want to go just yet.

I noticed in MK Tier 2 rides filling up quickly. I tried to use thrill data to determine what to purchase but that all might be out the window.
