Let me start by expressing my extreme joy at finding this site ! My fiance' is giving me quite a hard time about spending so many hours in front of the computer.

We are getting married at Disney World (Y & B Club) in August. I have looked at many Disney Invitation sites, but they all seem to have the same basic invites. We are actually planning a short trip to Disneyland at the end of this month (as I havent' been there before), so I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas of where to look there for other ideas. For that matter, I guess if anyone has any leads to people that might do something custom as well, would be great. I have already looked at Carlson Crafts, Impressions, and I think anyone who carries those same lines, but I am not finding the "perfect" one for us. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Disneyland doesn't ahve anywhere that sells wedding items (to the best of my knoweldge. Hwever if you amke an appointment with FTW there you might be able to see samples that can be ordered through FTW at WDW. You cna however go to the crystal shop and see about ordering custom champagne flutes. Just a thought.

There is a store on Main Street, on the right hand side, past the crystal shop...I forget what it's called. They have christmas ornaments and a small wedding section. It used to have more wedding stuff, their selection now is pretty small. Anyway, you can get cake toppers, picture frames, snowglobes, etc. We purchased the mini snowglobes that went on top of our centerpieces there.

Shelley at Impressions www.fairytalewedding.com is your best bet for custom Disney items, as she is licensed through Disney to do custom work. A lot of brides here have had less than stellar service from her, but she was wonderful for us. We ended up with carlson craft invites from her, but she did a custom mickey reception card for us. Pretty much anything goes if you are having a disney wedding...just remember you have to pay that 35% licensing fee...oh, just read that you already checked out Impressions...if you can get a hold of shelley, she'd be able to help you out more...

hth!

depending on what your looking for , maybe you could come up with something & see if a printer will print it for you??

Like maybe see if someone could draw something, or maybe you can cut & paste different ideas.

what are you looking for...got an idea??

:)
