Places to eat around Detroit Airport?

We are flying out of DTW next week and this is a first for us. We are very unfamiliar with the area and I am hoping some of you might be able to suggest places to eat in the general area. Also, is there a Target near by? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance...

As far as restaurants go, if you're looking for someing extremely close to the airport, there's a few choices on Merriman Road, which is also where most of the nearby hotels are too.

If you have a GPS with you, the airport is kind of in the middle of the nearby Target stores. They are each about a 15 minute (approx) drive from the airport. Just make sure you look for places in Romulus MI. Even though its the Detroit airport, its not technically in Detroit

Great=thanks so much. I actually did a bit of investigating after I posted and I found Westland Shopping Center is about 15-20 mins from Romulus and looks easy to get to as well. They have a Kohls, Tager in the area, an Abblebys etc so I think I am good-Any other suggestions or ideas are appreciated

If you can at all help it, I'd also recommend you try to eat your meal before you head to the airport. The airport has a McDonalds, TGI Fridays, and... a Detroit sports bar. Not a whole lot of variety, an pretty pricey too. The food is ok, but I don't recall there being much there for breakfast....

I was going to suggest Westland buy you already beat me to it. We usually stop at the Applebee's before driving back into Canada.
