Place to get a drink question

There is a chance that my in-laws may watch the kids one night so that we can all go out somewhere and have a drink. (in the event that we aren't too exhausted to take them up on the offer!)

What place would you recommend? We usually enjoy dueling piano bars so we thought about Jellyrolls. Then I heard some of the hotels have really neat bars. Any place you would recommend or have any pics of any place?
Thanks!

Our new favorite place is Paradiso 37 in what used to be part of Pleasure Island right next to the boat landing (and around the corner from Ragland Road). They have great sangria, and good food. If the weather is nice hopefully you can sit out on the deck on the overlooking the water. In fact we will be there this Saturday night.

I'm a fan of the lounge at bluezoo. And it's a very short walk to Jellyrolls from there.

Definitely check out the offerings at the Dolphin/Swan. They have some really nice places there. Just check the pricing - can be expensive if you go for the whole meal.

I haven't tried Paradiso, but it sounds like a lot of fun. We like going to La Cava de Tequila (I think that's the spelling of it) in Mexico. They have awesome margarita's and the snacks are too bad either.

Not the most convenient unless you're staying there, but what about Rix at Coronado Springs?

That's a genuine question, not an endorsement. I've never been there myself.

I LOVE Jelly Rolls, and can't wait to try Blue Zoo.

Pssst. Crew's Cup, Yacht Club. Martha's Vineyard, Beach Club. I'm a fan of the Crew's Cup, even though Martha's Vineyard is closer to the BCV.

Pssst. Crew's Cup, Yacht Club.

1) I did not include Rix Lounge
. . . it has a 300 person capacity
. . . there are frequently a lot of conventioners
. . . it gets too noisy for a a quiet drink

2) Crew's Cup is an alterantive
. . . they serve a lot of food and snacks
. . . more of a small eatery with drinks than a bar

Dh and I enjoyed grabbing a beer at Ragland Road. Our *favorite* thing to do is get drinks at the different countries in Epcot. We are planning on having the grandparents watch the kids one evening so we can have a date night doing just that :)

We like places a DTD for the ease of getting back to your resort, unless you are staying at the BW area, then stay right where you are. Paridiso, Rainforest and T-rex are easy to get into and while they may be loud you can sit and have apps or a full meal. Haven't tried Raglan but have heard good things. If you are at the BW area already try Crews Cup, goods drinks and food. Belle Vue is our favorite. Tim and Allen are great and it is a nice quiet spot. Tambu is great but can be hard to get a seat because of O'hana. IMO it depends on where you are staying and the ease of getting back to your resort too!

I heard that the Cotton Co-op at Port Orleans Riverside has a really good piano entertainer on some days.

And then there is of course the famous Carol Stein playing almost any evening at the Rose & Crown Pub in Epcot (Hat Lady in the entertainment schedule).

She used to play at the comedy warehouse and her improvisations are excellent!

The River Roost Lounge at POR has an entertainer named Yee-hah Bob; he performs Wednesday through Saturday night around 8:00 to midnight.

POFQ has a jazz player in their Lounge as well; his name escapes me at the moment.

You can take a DTD bus from your resort, and then take the water taxi down to either resort for the evening. Then either catch a parks bus back and transfer to your resort bus or catch a cab if it is really late.
