Pizzafari on the dining plan -- no kid's pizza? What up?

This has probably been previously addressed. If so please bear with me.

Pizza is not on the current children's menu at Pizzafari. Does this mean that kids on the dining plan can't have pizza unless parents pay out of pocket for an adult pizza meal?

Are there enough incredulous disney diners out there that will see the irony of this issue -- no pizza for the kids at Pizzafari, a sort of kid-themed and kid-named restaurant -- that there will be sufficient complaints to effect a change from Disney management?

Am I whacked for wondering about this?

If I show a disney dining plan card with two adults and four children on the card, and order six adult pizza meals (so the kids can have pizza at a pizza restaurant -- go figure), fully intending to use "adult credits" for all six CS meals, will the server balk at the fact that there are only two adults in the party?

Thanks for any commentary on this.

Well, I don't know about pizzafari, but my DS8 often wanted a burger for lunch. And at the counter service places, there are no burger meals for kids! So I would just order what I wanted, and I figured the cashier would stop me if it were not allowed. No one ever said a word- I even had him with me, standing there...no one seemed to care. I'm not saying I always did this, or was trying to 'cheat' Disney; as long as your are polite, gracious, and aren't demanding, I found most cast members will do their darndest to make you happy. And really, I found that the regular hamburger meal (no cheese!) was only $1 or so more than the kid's offerings. I think we did this at Pecos Bills and Cosmic Rays. And then at Tusker House I asked if I could just please order 3 chicken sandwiches, and the server didn't bat an eye.

Hope that helps- I doubt you will have a problem ordering the pizza.

ETA- I guess my post is breaking a rule?? I guess you will have to get your pizza for the kids elsewhere :confused3 ....I'm just relaying what my experiences were with it a year or so ago.

It's not really a Dining Plan issue, and actually has been that way for a while -- no pizza for kids at Pizzafari. Strange, yes, but I've seen stranger stuff at WDW. There are lots of places where kids can get pizza at WDW -- just not there.

Child meal entitlements cannot be used for adult meals so by all rights CMs should prevent you from doing as you suggest. The moderators have directed specific questions about this be directed to Disney Dining directly, rather than discussed in the forums.

This is another one of those only Disney can answer questions, and you won't really know what they will let you do until you get there.
