Pizza in the Park

I have heard/read that the Pizza is horrible at WDW anymore. Are there any exceptions to this? Spoodles Boardwalk Pizza Window any good?

Also, how does ordering a pizza with the Disney Dining Plan work? Do they still take one Counter Service off for each person?

Don't know about the dining plan, but we always thought the Spoodles pizza was pretty good. Not great, but not horrible either. Really enjoyed a cheese calzone last June but I read that they no longer offer the calzones.

The last time I had Pizza at a WDW resort was in 1989 at Fort Wilderness. It was one of those deals where you made your own pizza and they just sent it through the oven for you. It was awesome!

Since then I have heard the Pizza is like eating cheese and cardboard. Any other opinions on this?

Also, I am still wondering about the Disney Dining Plan...
