Pizza Delivery

We are staying at BLT getting in late and I was wondering if an outside pizza place can deliver there. (Papa Johns, Dominos etc) or maybe does Contemporary serve pizza. Looking for a good review place.

If you don't get any answers here, ask when you get there. Ask the front desk, or even better, the consierege. They'll be able to direct you to a good place to call. Usually they'll tell you where they call when they order pizza themselves.

(Just FYI I don't think the pizza guys are actually supposed to come into the hotel. I ordered pizza during a stay at the beach club and the driver called when he was 5 minutes out and I had to go meet him outside).

I know there are a few places. Agree with PP to ask at the front desk. Also, I think all the deluxe hotels have pizza as part of room service delivery (not the best pizza in the world), but getting room service is always fun.

Be sure not to call any of the places that put a flyer under your door. I've heard those are a scam.

I've been many times and used a place called "flippers" for delivery to resort hotels as well as off site hotels and I've loved it every time. They can't come to your room, they will call you ahead of time and you will need to walk down to hall outside your building usually as I think they are not suppose to enter the building.

The last time we ordered from Pizza Hut, they were only allowed to the lobby (CSR). The driver called us and we met him by the front desk. It was inconvenient, but much better than the awful Disney pizza.

Yes, there is pizza delivery. Some are different for different resort areas, you will have to meet them in the lobby. We have not had great luck with pizza delivery at Disney. We have tried a lot of different national and local chains and the delivery times were always long after the promised time and the pizza cold. YMMV

We have never had Flipper's but we love Giordano's! I didn't know they delivered to the resorts. It is great news since we won't have a car on our next visit.

We ordered Giordano's to AKL a couple weeks ago and met the delivery driver in the lobby. We actually ordered online while in line for Test Track (they gave an estimated time for delivery that gave us time to finish the ride and drive back to the resort). We beat the delivery guy by five minutes, hah!

FYI That place in Old Town is really but good but I can't remember the name of it.

We don't even bother to look for real pizza (NY style) outside our area. I doubt you'll have better luck, but anything is possible.

I don't know where in Ohio you live.. But I had to add this pic of our pizza delivery evening..
Unfortunately I couldn't find any specialty pizza places, so we ordered Pizza Hut.. I had wine which made it taste better ... And of course OSU on TV

Thanks! Minnesota-style pizza is my favorite. I crave it. I mean, I can have it any time, but I watch what I eat very carefully...so don't But, I thought if I was on vacation, I would not worry about it!

I agree. If I was going to waste money on sub-par pizza, I would just get it from the resort, to be honest. Which, we have done, and we survived. But, it's not REALLY pizza, ha!
