Pizza delivery from outside WDW to WDW Resorts?

I heard they won't allow pizza delivery people into the resorts, like Domino's, Pizza Hut, etc. But I just saw a thread where people say they got pizza delivered from Papa John's at their Boardwalk Villas room.

What's the story?

Don't remember Papa john's or Papa's pizza but they delivered to the lobby. How could they possibly stop a delivery to the lobby i think Dominos will deliver there also.

Most resorts They deliver to the front lobby or desk You meet them there.

We have done this for POP and POFQ with PAPA Johns .

SSR they delivered right to our Door for us .

We've had Pizza Hut delievered to both FW & OKW. In FW we had to meet them at the Outpost building in the front. At OKW they come right to your unit.

When I was down there on the College Program and went to Papa Johns they had a list of all the resorts in the area

I've seen Pizza Hut deliver to the front desk of resorts several times. One time, I talked to the guy. He was actually delivering to the CMs working the front desk.

Basic Rule: If the resort has an outside hallway, the pizza (or other delivery food) can go directly to the room. For hotels with inside halls, deliveries must go to Front Desk. They don't want people wandering inside the hotels.

we get papa johns everytrip..no trouble at all but you have to meet them in the lobby ....thats what iv done each time its takes them too long to find the rooms ...its not disney its the drivers..so just meet them in the lobby no truoble..its better then disney crap pizza and cheaper

We have had delivery from Giordano's (yummy stuffed pizza!) more than once.

For Giordanos, do you use the Lake Buena Vista number for delivery to AKL? I was on their site and figured that would be it, but I wasn't sure if it was that or the Kissimmee number.

We've always had to meet the delivery guy in the lobby at Values. I figured it was at least partly up to the store - saves them a lot of time if we're waiting in teh lobby instead of them walking to the room and back, I guess.

Giordano's did deliver. I may be one of the few, but I was extremely disappointed in their pizza.

You'll want to use the Kissimmee location. It's only about 1-2 miles from AKL.

Not exactly true in our case. We stayed at the CR and ordered Pizza Hut and we had to meet them at the front lobby. This past year we stayed at POP Century, ordered from Papa Johns twice, and also had to meet them in the front lobby. I cant imagine a pizza deliverly guy wanting to try and find rooms at any Disney resort. I would say meeting them in the lobby would be faster for the delivery guy and the person ordering the pizza. Its a great way to get a cheap meal that is a quality product. We ate Papa Johns twice for $20 each time (2 large) and fed 8 of us each time. Disney pizza- yuck!

We had Domino's delivered at the Polynesian last summer when we stayed with my DD's girl scout troop. They were running their $5 pizza deal so fed 20 people for under $50. We met the delivery guy in the lobby with no problems. As we were walking back to the room, everyone walking by wanted to know where we got the pizza from so we handed out the coupons that come on the boxes.
