Pixies,,,?

Any body know what ever happened to all those Pixies (Tink's friends) that Disney was try'n to push to sell the public for awhile ?

When we were at Disney this past trip, we didn't see them around ,,havn't heard bout them for awhile either,,



maybe I just missed them ,

I think most of them are in Adventure Land, just over the bridge to the right where the new Pixie Hollow exhibit is located. They are also introducing yet another new Pixie, though I cannot quite recall her name. My two DD are all about some Fairies!!

PrincessNP is correct. You can see Tinkerbell and one of her friends in what is called Tinkerbell's Magical Nook. Rosetta was the other fairy that was with Tinkerbell when went in mid-October. If you look at my trip report from then there is at least on picture. (sorry, not smart enough to link to the trip report page)

I have also heard from others that there is a location in Epcot to see them. From what I know the Pixie Hollow is not complete. Isnt that all part of the fantasyland improvements? My girls love the fairies so do I. In fact next yr they all want to be one of the fairies. There are 5 in the original movie.

I think what B2F is referring to is that Disney Marketing was trying to create a new line of merchandise something like the whole Princess Theme.

I just don't think it became as big as they wanted it to be so thats why its been toned down a bit aka the canceled Big Pixie Hollow attraction in the FLE.

There was also some issues with the first film when John Lasseter took over all CG movies when Pixar was bought. He came in and reworked it after they had already spent something like 50 million on the project. This film was meant to be launch of the entire Pixie Hollow line.
