Pixie Dust?

I was just reading my Passporter newsletter and it mentioned placing Pixie Dust collected at the back of Cinderella's Castle in your scrapbook. I never realized this was actually something to collect. Just figured it was a magical, invisible substance I guess. Does anyone know where to get it?

When my DS(4) had his hair cut at the MK barber shop, the hairdresser put mickey mouse icon shaped foil confetti in his hair; she said it was pixie dust. It was the same confetti that Cinderella's Fairy Godmother gave him earlier that day, also referring to it as pixie dust.

Last November, we were walking through Fantasyland by the Sword in the Stone ceremony place and Cinderella's Carousel and this pixie dust you describe (foil Mickeys) was all over the place! We didn't know what it was at the time, but now we do thanks to this post!

I have pixie dust from our Crystal Palace dinner last Oct. We were celebrating MILs birthday. She thought it was a "mess" - I told her I had to take it home. Good thing I did - I didnt know it was PIXIE DUST

We've seen it for years...around the castle and in through the gates. We've also collected some while Dining in Cinderella's Royal Table Restaurant each visit. The waitress explained the story to DD years ago, and included the part where she "shakes her wings" as she spreads them to fly each night over the castle...and the "Pixie Dust" floats to the ground. It's actually fun to spot some, and recall the tale (er..I mean FACT).
