Pixie Dust while activating AP renewal

Today we were activating our DVC Gold AP renewal we purchased just before the rate hike. We were at Disney Springs GR. While we were trying to activate them the CM told us the Platinum Plus renewal was the same price. We said didn't that promo end at the beginning of January? She said well the computer is saying it's still there. I don't know if this will help anyone. I checked the old promo and it said the 25% off DVC rate was supposed to end Jan 3, 2018.
