Pixie Dust, Prayers, Good Wishes ~ Whatever you can spare for my boss (job related) ~

Just wondering if I could get some prayers and pixie dust for my boss. Let me first start off by saying, this guy is one of the best. I had to go through a lot of jerks to get a really great guy to work for. Not only do we have a great working relationship but a wonderful friendship has formed also. He even comes to get me on his way to work if it snows!

He is up for a promotion to Lieutenant on the 14th. He scored #1 on the Lieutenant's Exam and not only did he get #1, but he was ahead by 10 points! The problem is, as with most jobs, some guys don't want the job but don't want him to have it either. It is a job assigned to Administration and Training ~ exactly what he is doing now, and, although, he is really the only one qualified for this, politics play into it. He is a hard worker and very dedicated. He goes above and beyond his duties, working long hours, programming computers, doing electrical work (he's a licensed electrician too) and various other things for the department that, of course, no one appreciates. He *SO* deserves this promotion.

Please, if you can spare some extra prayers and pixie dust now and then maybe again on the 14th ~ I know it would be appreciated (both from me and him). Thank you.

Thanks, Doreen, he really is deserving of this promotion and I can't imagine not working with him. He has become such a part of my life. Hopefully, in this case, the nice guys finish first!
