Was wondering if anyone heard any rumors as to what may be going in Pixar Place, they must have an idea to expand it. Any rumors of any attractions? Thanks!

Well, not sure if you care about this, but outside of Toy Story Mania! they are going to be putting Luxo Jr (I think that's his name..the Pixar Lamp mascot). I guess it's suppose to be an animatronic, much like Mr. Potato Head inside of TSM!.

someday I can only imagine the Backlot tour will finally be torn down to make way for a few more Pixar attractions

According to Jim Hill, the imagineers want to turn DHS into the "Pixar park". He said that most of the major Pixar attractions will go in Pixar Place. The next one is supposed to be the Monster's Inc. Coaster in Soundstage 1. This will be an inverted (hanging) coaster themed around the door scene from the movie. He said that the next major project may be Cars Land from DCA. They're supposedly going to tear down some of the production buildings on the backlot to make room for it. From a separate source, I heard that they may be changing the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids area into a new Toy Story mini land like the one going into the studio at Paris. This could have kid-friendly rides in it. :hippie:

You know, a suspended roller coaster could work around an "Up" themed ride. Just a thought.

Yea, they had a few bugs to work out, but they finally have it running. It's up on the second floor. There is a sort of balcony up there, and the door opens and the little guy pops out. There is a day and night show {lite up} that are slightly different.

All this sounds fun to me! I know most people don't like Pixar too much, but I think the people at Disney could be smart enough to keep the old and still bring on the new. I wouldn't want to see DHS completly Pixar though, I like both sides.

DHS and Future World have so much potential....mainly because the only limits are the imagination. There is a boundless amount of material to choose from at DHS, not just in the Disney "world" but the movie and entertainment world as well. Plus, there is so much room there, especially if they are no longer going to do the backlot. I miss the "golden" days of DHS, but I am excited about the future.

Speaking of Future World, how about getting it 'back' to the future? It could be an exciting and brave new world to explore.....we need optimism...bring back that old time feel to Future World with a new look based on the old premise and soak in the reward.

Are there any attractions based on the Incredibles or Wall-E in the works? For sure, there could be several interesting concepts for an Incredibles attraction.
