Pixar Pals parade?

Does anyone know whats going on with the Pixar parade? I really want to take my son to it and was hoping it would be running when we are there in the beginning of May.....

I have a schedule from the week of February 3 through 9th 2012.

Pixar Pals
Fri to Sun, Wed & Thur: Hollywood Blvd.
11:00AM, 12:00, 1:00, 2:25, 3:25 and 4:25PM

Not sure what the days or times will be when you're there. You'll just have to check online to see.

When we were there they came out and parked in the intersection by Aladdin's theater. There is yellow tape on the ground. The cart came out, parked in the far end of the area and the party began. The kids had a fun time with the characters.

Thanks for your response.... I think my post was confusing... I dont mean the Pixar Pals show that happens.. I mean the actual parade they had (have?) with all the pixar characters. "Countdown to Fun" it was called. Does anyone know if that is still happening or if its coming back and when it is? Thanks!

I think I know the one you're talking about. They use to come out by the sunshine plaza fountain and follow the walk way around over towards the Paradise Pier plaza area.

When we were there the route they would take is full of construction walls. Maybe once the construction is done they'll have a parade like before.

The Pixar Play parade is coming back & I'm so excited bc I loved this parade! I don't know when it's going to come back exactly, but I believe that it would @ the end of spring, beginning of summer, so it should be up & running by the time you visit.

I would think that it's coming back when Buena Vista Street and Cars Land open, which I think people are saying is June? So I wouldn't count on it for the beginning of May.

I recall reading on one of the many unofficial Disney blogs (I don't know which one) that when the construction is done this summer, they anticipate larege crowds, and they want to put their best foot forward with lots of entertainment and offerings along with the new "lands." Therefore, the Pixar Pals/Countdown to Fun Parade would return and with two performances during busy periods (like DL does with Soundsational).
