Pirates Tourney: Battle of the Sexes! UPDATE: New Battle Sign Ups!

Thanks Nikkibell for all your hard work! Ok, boys and girls since we guys won i will organize the next event. Sign Ups begin now and end on wendsday at 9pm sharp. If you want to play, and can make it to the game on time let me know! The torney will be next sunday at 7pm, with games starting at 7:30!

I know some of you felt left out the last time because of last minute subs. So in order to remedy that, I would like to have a fleet of 4 teams for the boys as well as the girls. I will Comodor the boys and will announce captains of my 4 teams on thursday! Nikkibell will comodor the girls team, and will decide her captains on thursday as well! The captains of the teams will play and have to keep score for their team! If people do not show up, their place will be forfitted and taken by the computer, no subs will be allowed! No exxceptions will be made.

To All...This event was meant to be enjoyable and was far from it for me. There were numerous players who did not show up and then complained if they came late. I am sorry but in the real world you cannot expect that to happen.

A few things learned tonight are that you have to have a few alternates for each team of a tourney. I had one for each, but needed more as a few players did not show or showed very late. Next, you need to make sure that all players READ what matches will go on and where. I listed it clearly, but it was not followed which led to confusion. If anyone wants to make a tourney of their own, make SURE your participants print out your list of matches. Finally, have fun and ignore the complaints.

I'm sorry to hear that this was not enjoyable for you. I sincerely hope that I did not add to the aggravation for you. I got a phone call from a friend I hadn't heard from in a long time around 6:45 and it just wasn't possible to excuse myself for a pirate battle When I did log on shortly after 7:30 I posted here then checked the emporium first. I then tried all the pirate lobbies, but I think y'all were in the one with a line. I did catch up with you in the lobby after the first battle then in your room, obviously way late. I don't think I complained, but if I did please accept my apologies. I would never have expected anyone to wait on me. Thats the snag with these online things, sometimes real life likes to intrude!!

I think it was a very nice thing you did and I just wanted to say again that I'm sorry I didn't make it. I was really looking forward to it, hopefully I can do it another time. Thanks again for trying to include me.

I would like to join in (vmk name: CL_FrontierSuzy) and I am sure mbike would like to sign up well. He never passes a chance of playing pirates LOL!

This last tournament seemed exciting. I watched it from behind mbike's shoulder lol. This time, I will take a try at it lol.

I would like to offically join this time, lol. I played in one "1 on 1" match last tournament. It was so much fun though even when i wasn't playing because i was watching on my dad's screen and I was cheering the girls on!!!!!!!!!! So, next tournament, count me in!!

just a reminder the sign up ends tomrrow at 9pm eastern standard time. everyone will play every round unless they get disconected! We need more players for both teams so step up and be counted. Make sure your gender wins the war! If we get enough players for multiple teams captins will be anounced on thursday.

P.S. This is open to everyone that can be there, so if you want to play don't be shy, if you know someone not on the dis that wants to play, first ask them why they aren't on the dis then sign them up!
