Pirates ship refurb coming along update 19/3/2012

Slow progress on this one too - but seems like it's getting there. If feels like this has been going on for ages.

Lewis still made us all walk past it last July all the time as he loved the screen with the two pirates arm wrestling - so he's delighted to see a picture of this today

I have a picture of my ds on it way back in 1998. If my memory is right, I don't think you could walk along the whole ship, just the section shown in this pic:

I don't remember ever being on it in subsequent visits. Hopefully they'll allow access again once it's all nice and new

It does look amazing! It is like everything has been given a new lease of life at the place - how lovely. I am so pleased we are going this year as they do seem to be making a huge effort.

My DD2 loves Pirates and Captain Hook (I blame Jake & the Neverland Pirates!), she squeals with excitement when she sees photos of this ship (she can't remember it from our previous trips as she was only 15 months on our last one). I can't imagine how excited she will be if you can actually get on it

Wow this looks amazing! My DD1 is really into Peter Pan and she is going to be so excited to see this! We also didn't go last year and are so looking forward to getting the benefit of all the refurbishments and the new shows for the 20th
