Pirates of the Carribean Refurbishment?

I just tried to book my fast passes for June 22/23 and Pirates is showing up as being refurbished then? I hope it won't be the whole week I'm there. Is there a way I can find out?

Pirates is closed beginning June 8, 2015 for refurbishment.

It needs a lot of work (more work than the current refurbishment schedule will allow). Just take solace in the fact that the ride will (hopefully) be improved the next time you visit.

It definitely needs a lot of work. I went on the Keys to the Kingdom tour last week and it was broken down when we went to get on it. I asked our tour guide why it always seemed to be broken down more than anything else and she told me that when they refurbed the ride a couple years ago to include Jack Sparrow, they brought in the boats from Disneyland to put in this ride. Turns out those boats are bigger, and are actually too big for the track, so they get stuck and run into issues a lot.

Sometimes it's better to miss a favorite than see it in the state it is in. I learned this with the People Mover last year. Try to take solace in that.

Guess people didnt say "George" enough !!! Hope he doesnt move during the rehab !!!

I booked our fastpasses a few days ago and POC was available then for June 7th. I booked it so we can ride it on the first day of our trip.Try again!
