Pirates of the Carribbean Coda???

Hi- I went to see this movie today (It was great - and Johnny Depp did a fantastic job!) - and left DURING the crdits. Bummer!! Now I read (on this site) that there is a full minute of film AFTER the credits!!! Did anyone stay for this?? Will you please SPOIL this for me!!! I need to know what I missed!!! Thanks so much! Usually we stay for the credits, the pixar ones are hilarious, but we got up and left! Then came home and read this. Hope someone well let us know

For those of you who haven't seen this movie...GO! It was great! The whole family loved it. DS who is 21 and a longtime POTC fan was grinning ear-to-ear the whole 2 1/2 hrs.

I missed it but the older kids stayed and watched....here's what they told me...
They show the monkey back in the cave with all the treasure, he runs up to the trunk of coins and takes one, as he turns around , he lunges towards the camera and moonlight shows him as a skeleton again.
At least that's what I got from what the kids told me.

Whitegloves' kids are right. But you have to sit through tons, I mean TONS of credits to see it!
Great movie, can't wait to see it again. Johnny Depp really makes it.

We went last night. Loved the movie! True family fun. We had ages 3 1/2, 9, 13, 20, two 30?, and a 42. All of us enjoyed the movie. This is a DVD must buy for my family. Now I can't wait to see Eddie Murphy in the HM!

mmiller, thanks for posting the ages of your crew. I was reluctant to take our 5yr. DS to this, thought the skeletons might be too scarey. We will plan to go now. Glad to hear all enjoyed it!

You know, I was reluctant about seeing Haunted Mansion later in the year, but the previews look great! Make sure you are in your seats before the show to see it. I think HM looks scarier than Pirates.

Two thumbs up! My boys ages 9-14 loved it. It might be scary for a five year old though, depends on the child. Haunted Mansion looks good too!

My 3 1/2 is actually 5...Guess Great Aunt lost count on birthdays. lol but he did enjoy it and wasn't scared. He was frightend last year on the pirate ride at Disney so... His favorite joke of the evening was not in the movie but he told it over and over...Why did the pirate go to the movies?
Because it was rated ARRRRR....Got to say it like a pirate..He was so cute. There are some parts where it has a boo factor. Might startle some children.
