Anyone know when POTC 3 will be in movie theaters ???


I heard a "rumor" not sure where,,, that they made the 2nd and 3rd
together. true or false ??


If they didn't does anyone know if it is in the making ?

They're working on the 3rd one right now. I saw an interview with Johnny Depp the other day and he had his Jack Sparrow teeth on. They mentioned it was because they were still filming POTC 3. It's supposed to be released in the Summer of 2007.

Most of the scenes involving the main characters have already been shot. It is cheaper to do it that way and more convenient for the stars. They are still casting for extras and will need to do pickup scenes later, but much of it is ready for editing.

The 3rd PoTC was originally supposed to be released this December. There were several setbacks, including hurricanes, during filming so they fell behind. They still have about 60% of #3 to film so the release date was pushed back to 2007.
