Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides - anyone else incredibly excited !!

I have just booked our tickets for Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides for opening night - so excited for this movie ...... I have looked forward to it for 4 long years

Anyone else planning on going to see it next week ?

I thought that I had got over the POTC franchise but the trailers have got me excited to see the film.

Trying to stay away from any podcasts and news that give away too much info.
Heard that there is another treat worth staying through the credits

We're waiting until then as we're going to go the day after we get back from Disneyland Paris - hopefully it will soften the depression a little.

I watched the 1st one last night in preperation, and will watch 2 & 3 again before we go. I saw a sneek peak when I was in Disneyland and it looked good. I went to the Premiere on Thursday and saw Johnny in person and got his autograph, it was very exciting, photos on FB.

I thought the film was definitely as good as the others - I really liked the additions of the new characters. I didn't think there was much humour in this film - there were subtle things, but it was more an action film. The 3D didn't really add much, so it is definitely not essential to see in 3D in my opinion! I am sure you will really enjoy the film!

Needless to say really but I absolutely loved the film and particularly loved Capt Jack in it ... it was a real call back to the first film.

Only regret - watching it in 3D - too distracting and gave me a headache.

Can't wait to see it in 2D now .... guess I am an old fashioned girl at heart !!
