Pirates of the Caribbean movies

Hi All,

Can someone please tell me the order of the movies? I'd like to borrow them from the library in order!

Are they PG or PG-13 ? Just wondering why....inappropriate for younger kids? My DD's 5 & 7 do get freaked out easily. I would have to warn them ahead of time of they are scary.

The first one is Curse of the Black Pearl, and #2 was Dead Man's Chest. They are both PG-13, mostly for intense images. Especially in Dead Man's Chest - we found that one to be more "intense" than the first. The first one is mostly about the cursed pirates appearing as skeletons in the moonlight. The second one has some creepier moments (a dead guy hanging in a basket gets his eye pecked out by a bird...). My 5 and 7 year olds have seen both movies but they were fine. If yours are sensitive, I'd definitely give it a watch yourself before letting them view.

As adults, my DH and I LOVED both movies and can't wait for #3 this summer!!!!

my 2 yr old LOVEs them both!!! although I don't know if he gets the story!! but if they dont' scare easy, they should be fine!!
