Pirates of the Caribbean closure...

I was super bummed to learn that they are taking the Pirates down the week we are going to be there in March....and then of course it opens back up 2 days after we leave! What are the chances the ride will come back up during the week we are there, or does Disney stick pretty rigidly to their ride closure schedules?

I was there last time POtCB was down for a refurb saw nothing on MDX but heard other guest talking on the train that it was open walked by and sure enough it was opened. with this said it would not hurt if you really wanted to ride it to at least walk by it your last day at MK and see if it is opened

I remember once the Haunted Mansion opened earlier than scheduled from a refurb. It could happen. But nobody knows what the chances are and you can't count on it.

There have also been cases where a scheduled refurb was postponed (or even cancelled.)

No reason to expect that to happen, but anything CAN happen with WDW schedules.

We have had it happen where Space Mountain was supposed to go down so they canceled our fastpasses prior to our trip but it was open when we were there so things can definitely change.
