Well, it seems out beloved Pirates is coming out with a 3rd movie, At World's End...Barbossa to help Jack and his adventures

It will most likely be released May 25th of '07, Jack Sparrow does in fact survie that bugger they call a kraken, they sail off to the edge of the map and meet some Chinese warriors it looks like from some pictures I found on the internet

Davy Jones, Bootstrap, and many other leading characters are returning to the film, so everyone should be getting excited for the movie! (it also says it might be their last battle, but pirates are very unpredictable, so who knows?)


Yes I know it's not much but there is still quite a long time for the movie to be released

All this stuff is not new. There's also a *cough* "pirated"(get the irony?) version of the film out since like before the 2nd film officially premiered if you know where to look.

I knew that there would be a third film. They already said that right after the first film did so well. In fact, I believe both the second and third films were being filmed at the same time.

Besides, the ending of the second film didn't really end. So even if they hadn't said there would be a third, you would have known it.

I also figured when they said "end of the earth" in 2 that it would have something to do with Asia. It was always referred to as the ends of the earth.

I'm so impressed with the way Disney worked tiny, tiny details like that into the sequels. Another example is that compass that doesn't point North!

And, of course he doesn't die... 1. He's Jack, and 2. He was way to cocky with that thing at the end... he knew how to survive the Kraken.

Only reason he was cocky cause he is the coolest pirate ever! IMO I think they should kill off Will and let Lizzie and Jack do their thing, I know they clearly stated their differences but I think that would be sweet

You forgot one more important factor pirates are wwaayy to cool to die. I don't know if im going to like this movie. The way the last one ended they might just sucker you into buying a really bad movie. Like some other moive series [cough]Lord of the rings[/cough].

Yes they have. They filmed it as the same time as the second. The year delay is to get merchandise sold.

If they have any sense of reason he'll be a zombie, and will end the movie with the suprise ending of Jack eating everyone who showed up on the set's brains, and then showing a fade to black of each zombified character moving towards the screen with the sound of screaming and ripping-of-flesh-noises in the background.

In all seriousness, the movie looks pretty cool.

Don't forget the 5th Star Wars. George Lucas sold a string with movie number six at the end, and everyone loved like a cat would. Roflollers.

Some of the shots were shot at the same time as Dead Man's Chest (i.e the places which are in both movies - Tortuga...? that sort of stuff), but new locations specific to the film were filmed after. The 2nd came out on July 7th and filming started again in August.
IMDb says it's been in post production since 10 November, so they finished filming recently. They weren't done at the same time, they were back-to-back... and since it's a roadtrip movie and they're using real locations instead of sets for lots of scenes they can't film say Singapore in the Bahamas.
