Pirate's of Carribean closed today

Does anyone know why PoC was closed all day today, 12/19/14? Just wondering if I missed an announcement or something - I was a bit surprised by it.

I think December 17 was on the rehab schedule.

It was down both days we were there. DH did not get to ride his favorite ride.

I see it listed on the rehab schedule on the Dis, but it was definitely closed yesterday (19th). Any word on if it's open today (20th)?

We rode POC on 12/16 and there were some parts not working--specifically the pirate projected on the "waterfall"--no pirate/no waterfall and no splashes from shots fired between the ship and the fort.

This ride has been having definite issues. We rode it on December 11th. Right after the drop the ride just stopped and we were stuck on it for half an hour. It was closed most of the next day, too. After that experience I never need to ride it again!

We rode POC on 12/16 and there were some parts not working--specifically the pirate projected on the "waterfall"--no pirate/no waterfall and no splashes from shots fired between the ship and the fort.

When I was there the first week of November there was no waterfall or projected pirate. I kind of just thought they were not using it anymore.

it goes on and off. When I was doing my college program fall of last year, from august until december everytime I rode it the projection wasn't working.

I was there on Wednesday about to get on the fast pass line when the CM told me the ride just shut down but didn't know why. He said it should only be a few minutes and to wait if I wanted to. We moved on and tried again later but still closed. Then I went on Thursday and it was closed all day, in fact the fast pass I reserved on my phone said I had an option of 5 different rides to use that fast pass for instead. Weird. I wonder what happened.

Nope, I actually had a FP+ booked at my 60 day window but when we arrived that morning (Dec 17th) FP+ was cancelled and replaced with remaining day window to select from five alternatives to use that FP+ on.

Well it must have been a late and unexpected closure as I had a FP scheduled for 12/17 that was still showing on my MDE account the day before.

I saw it on this list at least 2 or 3 weeks ago.

According to Touring Plans, it was open this afternoon. Times were posted at 2:32 and 3:35.

The projection was not working on 12/2 either. Much to the indignation of my teenager.
