I am planning a trip for June 2010 and was looking at the Pirate's Dinner Adventure. I have a 3-year old little boy who absolutely loves pirates (but of the Disney variety) and I was really just looking to see what people who have been to it think. Is it worth the price? Is the food good? Most importantly, will a 3 year old love it? We took him to TREX on our first night last year and I am going to do one of these two things this year. I know he loves TREX and I was fine with the food...just trying not to do a complete repeat of our vacation last year!

Thanks!

A lot of people knock it but we go to it every year or 2. Food is ok, they have appetizers and entertainment before the main show then your dinner while you watch. They do let kids participate but at 3 years old your child may be a bit too young.

If you're a beer drinker they claim to give you free beer and wine with dinner but then when you get in there they say that they are only allowed to give you 2 drinks during the show. Later on the waiter or waitress will "sneak" you an extra one to get a better tip. Big thumbs down in this department.

We think the show is a lot of fun and worth the time. Try looking for discounts, we normally get free tickets through timeshare presentations but other than that you can get about 5 dollars off by looking in any standard orlando discount book.
