I booked a pirates and pals cruise before they announced they were no longer going to be doing wishes. I'm curious if I'm going to regret not seeing it in front of the castle. I don't think we will have another opportunity to see it the week we are there. Has anyone seen it yet from outside of the park? What was it like?

I can't imagine you'll see the projections on the castle from outside the park. The lights and fireworks you could. I heard HEA is great and if my only time to see them is one day of trip I personally wouldn't miss it

Don't view them from outside of the park. We cancelled our cruise because of this, and am glad we did.

I love P&P but if I didn't have another oppertunity to see the show in front of the castle, no way would I do the cruise. You definitely wouldn't be able to see the projections which make up a very big part of the show. HEA is amazing. We got to see it opening night and did the Plaza garden dessert party and it was great! So much room, good desserts and a great view. Maybe do that instead if there are any openings?

For the whole show, you need to be in the park and not on a cruise. If you just want fireworks and this is something like a birthday surprise your child will probably love it without the projections.
