I can't wait to hear more! We are going to Crystal Palace with our grandson for the first time. We have gone to Disney forever and I have never eaten there. I can't wait.

Catching up! Early ADR's at Crystal Palace are the best...I love being able to walk down Main Street in (comparative) quiet and have your breakfast all before the park opens. And that puffed french toast. YUM.

Great pics of New Fantasyland too. I had never seen that pic of Belle and her Mom...so sweet!

Oh my goodness, I know! The Puffed French Toast ROCKS!! That's just the best!! And I thought that pic of Belle and her mom was so neat!!

Having had lots of fun at Enchanted Tales with Belle (or I did, anyway!), it was time to head out to explore more of New Fantasyland! As we left Belle, we saw a PhotoPass photographer sort of before you get to Be Our Guest. Not one to miss an opportunity, I “suggested” we stop (read that as, I said, “We’re stopping now.” J ).

I loved these because we had Beast’s Castle in the background!






Then, the nice PP Photographer offered to take a “magic” shot of D. I was so glad she did—this is one of my favorites!



Then, it was off to see another of my favorites. . .GASTON!!! I don’t know why, but he is one of my very favorite villains! One of the areas of New Fantasyland that I was most excited about was his fountain and tavern.

Sadly, Gaston wasn’t out, but we took the crazy fountain pics! After all, there’s no one like Gaston! J





The sign on the fountain cracked me up!



From there, I figured I had bored D enough with New Fantasyland (and I knew we’d be back that night), so it was off to one of his favorites. . .

Next up: Will D be thrilled with one of his favorites again?

Personal Disney transportation is awesome, as is having an early ADR before the park opens! Crystal Palace is one of my favourites. It's cute that your DS takes a bit to warm up to the characters, and it looks like he did enjoy himself!

Isn't that a great PP spot? The funny thing is, when you walk past it, it doesn't look like it'd be that great a spot (maybe because the crowd was so thick right there), but I was really excited when they turned out good!

Where were we headed for one of D’s favorites?? You guessed it!

Tomorrowland Speedway!

D thinks this is the best thing going today! The guys went up to get in line, and I took a little potty break, and then went up into the grandstand to watch them.

Here they are getting in line:



I was trying to juggle the videocamera, my cellphone camera, and the big camera. I think it might have been more comical to watch me try to get pics than it was to watch the little kids try to drive!

Nevertheless, here are the guys headed out to drive!





Once they were done, D declared this to be “SUPER COOL”!!! On the way out of there, he spotted that little kiosk that sells Cars stuff. What did he pick out? The Mack Car Hauler. Oh yes. The one with 20 cars included. We finally told him that that would be his BIG souvenir from WDW, and he would have to wait until the 2nd day to make sure he was good the whole time (in reality, it was more because I didn’t want to lug that thing around all day or risk losing a car! )

After the Speedway, it was time for another D favorite. . .DUMBO!! So, we headed into the Storybook Circus area. Just like last time, D was fascinated by the peanuts in the sidewalk. He kept pointing out ones that “Chip and Dale forgot to eat the night before”. So funny what they decide to focus on!

The line was just a few minutes long, so we jumped right in! A few Dumbo pics:







I always try to take some while “in flight”. On the flight after us (which I could still hear because we were watching it), they actually made an announcement telling people NOT to use their cameras while the Dumbos were flying. I had never heard that before! I suppose I was violating a Disney rule (such a rebel, I am!), but here’s the one I got!



From there, D was ready to explore some more of Storybook Circus! I saw this as an opportunity to convince him to go see the Pete’s Silly Sideshow building. . .I mean, after all, we needed to meet some more characters, right??

Our kids love Tomorrowland Speedway! Wait times for this one can be surprisingly long though.

That is an odd announcement on Dumbo about not taking pictures in flight. It's not like it's a rough ride where you could drop the camera. Plus, I love taking pics of the family during flight!
