"Pirate, Your Reputation Precedes You!" The Stitchs Do WDW & The Dream! New 9/7!

Okay, I admit it, I did sing "walking right down the middle of Main Street USA". How can you not?

Yeah, I would have freaked out big time if a similar ticket/KTTW card situation had happened to us. Which is one of the reasons why I hold on to everyone's KTTW card unless we split up - you can say it, I have OCD issues! The other reason being I'm usually the FP runner.

Anyway, very good to know where to go and what to do if we happened to have left one of the cards on top of the dresser in our AKL room while trying to enter MK! :goodvibes

And I absolutely LOVE your Minnie ears!

Sounds like a great trip so far! I sure hope D did not get sick again! My DD just got over a 6 day tummy bug, no fun!

Gotta love disney. Their customer service is second to none! Glad D got a new ticket!
Ahhhh I love early breakfast line at mk!
And yes, I sang the song. :D

good thing Brian didn't have to go back to the room to get D's ticket! looks like he's getting forgetful in his "old" age :rotfl2: great you got lots of great CS from the CM's! I always keep all our tickets together too!

very cute photos of D and you all together! I like your ears too!

That's what I thought, too! :goodvibes

What a great start to your first park day!!

Thanks!! It really was a terrific morning! :)

I was definitely freaking out! Brian is like you, and always carries ours together. I am not sure why I had mine. . .I think I had just gotten it in case D needed something while Brian was upstairs? I can't remember! I was so glad they could fix it! And THANKS!! I love those ears too! They made quite a few appearances in this trip!

Oh no. . .I hope DD is feeling better!! It definitely was a great morning--gotta love being in MK!

You definitely cannot beat Disney's Customer Service!! So wonderful! And you're right--the early breakfast line rocks! So glad someone else sang the song too! :goodvibes

I know, right? I asked Brian if he thought turning 40 made him forget?? ;) This is only the 2nd time, though, that D has even had a card, so I cut him some slack. ;) Thanks for the compliments on the pics! You know me--we take a bajillion!!

Congrats on a view where you can see wishes:cool1:. We had a view like that at BWV last September where we could see the high fireworks from Illuminations. I spent the entire 10 days trying to get some good firework pictures and always had pictures that came out blurry:confused3. I am anxious to see if you ever got any good ones.

We usually have at least one person lose a ticket each trip(usually my fault and it is usually left in a FP machine). I am an expert at getting replacements and now as soon as I get our tickets I take a picture with my phone of the back. That can speed up the replacement process although it sounds like yours went really fast anyway.

I do love MK early in the morning. We have early reservations for Crystal Place for our upcoming trip. It will be the first time in years that we have been there so I am looking forward to spending some time with Pooh and friends.

Ooh, I bet that was cool to be able to see the Illuminations fireworks! I always think those are so pretty!! I am so glad to hear there are others who have lost their ticket! I hate for that to happen to anyone, but at that point, I felt like I was the only person in the world who had ever lost/forgotten a ticket! ;) That's a good idea to take a pic of the back. . .I will do that next time!!

Yay for early CP reservations! There's just something extra-magical about starting off the early morning there and in MK!

Update coming below!!

Yay! Breakfast at Crystal Palace! This is definitely one of my favorites, and my guys are nice enough to go with me! ;)

We were probably the 3rd family called in, and we had a great table—right under the Friendship Day sign and decorated with Mickey confetti for the guys’ birthdays! Of course, I had to take pics!

Our server was so nice, and she offered to take a picture of the three of us! Love when people offer to do that!

There weren’t many families in there yet, so we were doing the waffling of “Do we go for food?? Do we wait on characters??” I finally took D up and he and I got food. He thought that was BIG TIME because in the past, I have just gotten his food for him while he stayed at the table with Brian. Amazing what constitutes “grown up”! ;)

When D and I got back to the table, the characters were coming into the room. This was D’s first character encounter of the trip, and it always takes him a little while to get used to characters again.

Piglet was first! Ever since D was little, we have LOVED Piglet. I don’t know why, but Piglet has always been our favorite! This time, though, D was a little unsure of this Pink Guy’s motives. You can tell he still has a little bit of “sick eyes” going on, but he was trooping along!

The only way we were going to interact with Piglet was if I picked D up, so that’s what we did! Now, trust me, D is tall (unlike me!), so when I pick him up, his feet hang past my knees. Definitely a maneuver that requires skill! :rotfl:

D being a little unsure about Piglet:

D smiled and everything, but he wasn’t warmed up to the idea of characters, and Tigger followed right behind Piglet. Tigger waited by the pillar to see if D was good with him approaching. When it seemed like D was ok with it, he came over.

This Tigger was TIGGERIFIC! He did a lot of clowning around with us during our pics by jumping in front of both of us so the camera only showed him. D thought that was hilarious!

This interaction went a little better, and D was all about giving Tigger a high five and playing around with him for a few minutes!

Right after that, poor Brian finally got to go get more food! I so truly love the food at Crystal Palace! This time, they had a new (to me) kind of breakfast pizza—it was southwest-style, and it was SO good!! Brian and I both had 2 pieces! And the puffed French toast? Still AWESOME!! D had biscuits, a few bites of pancake, and a little bit of bacon, so I was pretty happy with that!

Pooh and Eeyore came into the room next. For some reason, D was SO thrilled to see Eeyore. Pooh came first, though, and D had to offer him a high five!

D was then ok with Pooh giving him a hug! (With me providing a protective barrier, of course!)

By this time, it was about 8:30-8:40. I was excited that we might get out before rope drop! Not that I wanted to rush breakfast, but I was thinking, “OOH!! Let’s get to New Fantasyland!!” But we were still waiting on Eeyore, and D was NOT going to leave without that one!

Wouldn’t you know it? Just about 3 tables away from Eeyore visiting us, they started the parade. Yep. Oh well! Time to get D up and enjoy the parade!

We went ahead and paid our bill right after the parade, and our server brought Brian and D cute little cupcakes and cards from the characters! Then, Eeyore finally joined us! D was not really up on Eeyore hugging him, but he was excited for him to be at the table!

One final Crystal Palace character pic:

Once again, Crystal Palace was a super meal for us! I can’t ever decide if I like breakfast or dinner there better—it’s usually whichever one I’ve done most recently! We got out about 9:05 am, and we were headed out to the park!

Next Up: Venturing to New Fantasyland!

LOVE Crystal Palace especially before the park opens!

We sat at the same table as you did two trips ago! Great pictures with Pooh and the gang.

Thanks!! We loved that table! When we did our ADRs for our upcoming Oct trip, there were no breakfast ressies to be had (at 180 days out!) on the day I wanted them, so we'll be doing dinner there before MNSSHP. I'm excited about that too!! :thumbsup2

As soon as we left Crystal Palace, the guys grabbed the stroller, and we were off to New Fantasyland! I had this weird feeling of being completely unprepared, since when we were last there in June 2012, this area was nowhere near complete, and I had NO idea where stuff was! Luckily, we ran right into our destination—Enchanted Tales with Belle! I knew we weren’t in the first group, but we checked out the wait, and it was only 10 minutes. D wasn’t really into this plan, but I convinced him to go by reminding him that his best daycare buddy had done this and loved it, and that the little boy’s dad (who is a coworker of mine) had been in the show when they went. That seemed to work, so into the line we went!!

D convinced Brian that he needed a ride!

I LOVE “Beauty and the Beast”! So getting to see this was SO awesome to me!! Y’all may have already seen pics of the outside/first room, but here are the ones I snapped while I was ooh-ing and aah-ing!!

D was still convinced that this was for “grills” (girls) when we went into the room with the Enchanted Mirror. The CM, though, was very entertaining, and he brought everyone into the story! Once the mirror changed to where you could walk through it, D decided this was pretty cool!

In the next room was one of my favorites, Madame Wardrobe! I just love how fabulous she is!

They picked all of the people for the show. Sadly, we didn’t get picked, but that was ok—not sure we could’ve talked D into that! ;)

Lumiere and Belle were just awesome! I love how they have put all of this together!

When it was over, the CM working in the library came around and asked all of the kids (and their parents) if they wanted to meet Belle (even if they hadn’t been in the show). D decided that that was not something of interest to him. ;) We just watched while others had their pictures made.

However, when it was over, he was all about telling Belle bye! I thought this was such a fun and fascinating attraction! Definitely going to do a repeat visit next time!!

Both of our kids loved ETwB! DD decided she didn't want to participate in the storytelling but she did go up and meet Belle afterwards.

I agree with you that this concept of an "enhanced" meet and greet experience was ingenious but wish there was a way to reduce wait times. With the way the magic mirror works, it made me wonder - are there more than one libraries behind there so they can have multiple shows going at once?

Love the crystal palace. We'll be having breakfast there on our upcoming trip. Also love the Belle pictures. I did not have this on our list for May as our DS also thinks its for girls but your update has changed my mind.

I was glad we got in early, because I figured that the wait times (from reading your TR) could get intense!! I think I read somewhere that there are two libraries, and that when Belle is in one, they are loading/setting up the other one, but I am not sure how that works!

Yummm. . .Crystal Palace breakfast! Made me think I'd love to have some puffed french toast right now! Definitely add Belle to your list in May. If you can get to it early, you won't have to wait in a long line, and it doesn't take very long! It was worth the stop to us, and not too overly girly!

some fun photos with the characters! cool you did the Belle show, we can't wait to do it in Nov! Megan was picked one time at the old Belle Storytime back in 2008 and LOVED it! hope we enjoy this one just as much!

I can't wait to hear more! We are going to Crystal Palace with our grandson for the first time. We have gone to Disney forever and I have never eaten there. I can't wait.

Catching up! Early ADR's at Crystal Palace are the best...I love being able to walk down Main Street in (comparative) quiet and have your breakfast all before the park opens. And that puffed french toast. YUM. :thumbsup2

Great pics of New Fantasyland too. I had never seen that pic of Belle and her Mom...so sweet!
