"Pirate, Your Reputation Precedes You!" The Stitchs Do WDW & The Dream! New 9/7!

Sorry I have gotten behind on your TR, but I really enjoyed your last update. Dinner pictures from DCL always look so yummy.

Dalton's shirt is adorable. Glad he had such a great time dancing.

I really like you dress and I am certain there are some hidden Mickeys in there.

Wonderful family photos.

Hoping to get caught up soon but wanted to do a drive by! :wave2:

Great update! I think the food looks delicious. My boys are very picky but I'm hopeful DCL will be accommodating. Glad you ordered room service. We plan on doing that too.

I love how D has a "crush" on Victoria. So cute!

Good luck with your new job. What are you going to be doing?

The food was so great!! D is a picky eater, too, so I know they can be super-accomodating! I did see this before it was edited (about the shorts). D wore shorts every night! No one ever said anything or even looked at us. . .even though I worried a lot about it before we went! Definitely wear shorts!!

D loved Victoria! He still talks about her! He will be devastated if she is not on the cruise when we go again!!

I am the new Attendance and Student Management Coordinator for our county. It's definitely different, but I am liking it!!

Oh my gosh, the dancing pictures are so adorable! I'm melting!

Good luck at the new job! Pixie dust coming your way!:wizard:

Awwww, thanks!! Both for the comments and for the pixie dust!! :goodvibes

I'm a little late for your first day, but I do wish you luck at your new job!

Thank you!!! I have made it through 2 days without feeling completely clueless, so I may be ok!! :rotfl2:

I am so behind on reading everyone's TRs!! I need to catch up!!

Thank you for the clothes compliments!! And D thought the dancing was the BEST ever!! He said he was "doing his moves"!! :rotfl2:

Thanks for the drive by and all of the compliments!! Here's hoping we both get some more Disney time to get caught up soon!! ;)

Ok, y'all, my photobucket bandwidth is out, but it will re-up on the 25th! Just a couple of days, and I will have an update!! :thumbsup2

Ok. . .photobucket definitely went crazy! I'll get the update up on Thursday!! :)

I just wanted to pop in and say hello! I'm back and trying to get caught up on all of the TRs that I was reading. I see that you are having some issues with photobucket, which would explain why I can't see any of your photos! I will be sure to get all caught up soon :) Good luck at your new job as well!

You're too quick for me ;) and were able to see my shorts comment. I decided to delete it because I didn't want to upset anyone reading along or start a debate. But, since you saw my comment, thanks for responding. It definitely makes me feel better about my decision.

Your job sounds very interesting. I'm sure you work with some interesting students/parents. I am a teacher and can only imagine.

Thank you for the good luck wishes!! :goodvibes My photobucket bandwidth ran out for last month. I think it was because I had several continuous days of updates. It's back up now! Thanks again for reading along!!

I completely understand what you're saying about the shorts!! It is definitely the way to go! I even saw grown ups in shorts!

It really is interesting. I am not even 100% sure what all it encompasses yet, but it is fun! :)

Update (hopefully with working photobucket) coming below!

The next morning, I got up about 6:30 am after a WONDERFUL night’s sleep!! Those beds are SO comfy!

We had decided that we would go into Nassau for a little bit, so we wanted to have breakfast before we went there. I got ready and then got the guys up to get ready. About halfway through their getting ready, D asked when we could go swimming. Brian and I looked at each other and said, “Why are we even getting off the ship? Let’s stay on and have fun!” Now, not that Nassau is stressful, but deciding that took some stress off the morning! We got ready and then headed out to take pics of the ship and go to breakfast.

We took these pics on the way to breakfast at Cabanas.

When we got to Cabanas, it was soooo crowded! So much that the CM at the front nicely said, “It is SO crowded in there! If I were you, I’d go to Enchanted Garden for a sit-down breakfast!” SOOOOOO glad she did!!

So, meal #3 on the Dream, and we’ve been to the same restaurant EVERY time! :lmao:

They brought around a yummy bread basket with muffins, breads, and pastries! D was so excited to have a chocolate chip muffin! Then, we ordered from the menu! D got pancakes, I got a waffle, and Brian got an omelet. It was all AWESOME!!! And the service was incredible! There weren’t many people in there (we were still a little early) so the CMs would just come by and chat!

Because there were so few people in the restaurant, we let D go over to the window to look out. He thought that was too cool!!

After filling our bellies with breakfast, it was time to go back to the room and get ready for the pool!! Sun and fun, here we come!!

I've been on two cruises with stops in Nassau - the first time we got off the ship, the second time we skipped it. I think you made the right choice, especially with a ship as cool as the Dream to explore and enjoy!

Thanks!! We felt like we did, too! We loved just having the "extra" time on the Dream!!

Really cute pics! :goodvibes

Thank you!! :goodvibes

I hope to be back with another update tonight!!

Congratulations on your new job!! How exciting!!

Great pics. Breakfast sounds wonderful! it's always nice when you get a great recommendation from a CM. :)

BTW--you have on the same hat I have! I LOVE that hat. Perfect for me :rotfl:

I'm loving your report and your little boy is adorable. I've been going back and forth trying to decide on the Fantasy or Dream with land days. So far, I'm leaning towards the 4 night Dream and the 4 nights at WDW. I can't wait to read more.

Your son is absolutely adorable. Looking forwarding to reading more about your trip. :)

Smart move on the sit-down breakfast. Look's like your little man is having a great time!

Okay, I am finally all caught up!

It looks like you had a wonderful time at MK! I love how excited D gets. His comment about Chip and Dale forgetting to eat the peanuts is so adorable!

You also had some really great CM experiences on this trip as well! The CM at the splash pad, the WL CM who helped you get new cups, your mousekeeper who made the racetrack out of towels (so cool!) and many great character M&Gs. These kinds of people can really make a difference in your trip, so it is great to see that you had so many good interactions.

I'm sorry that BOG wasn't for you, it is such a beautiful restaurant. In my experience, and from what I've read around the boards, the atmosphere is much better than the food. So it is really too bad that D was so frightened in there. Maybe a few trips down the road he will be willing to go back to that castle!

It looks like your cruise is off to a great start (minus the weather on the departure day!) I would have been so scared if I was going on a cruise and saw a storm like that lol

I'm going to say good call x2! Once For staying on board and enjoying the ship, and twice for the sit down breakfast. Looks really nice and relaxing, especially with so few people!

I think you made a good decision heading to the sit down restaurant. It seemed like a nice, relaxing breakfast that you could enjoy instead of being rushed and in a crowded place. I can't wait to see how you guys spent your first full day on the cruise.

Despite what it looks like, I didn't disappear!! This week has been crazy at work, and then it was Dalton's 5th birthday! So much fun!! Now I'm back for updates and replies! Thanks for sticking wtih me! :goodvibes

Thank you!! We loved that breakfast--it was definitely the best recommendation for us. We've already talked about that that's what we want to do on our next cruise! :rotfl2: on the hat! It's my very favorite! I have to admit. . .I have two of them, just alike! I love them!

Thanks for joining in and for the compliments!! You will LOVE the cruise, whichever one you choose! Thanks for reading!!

Thank you so much!! He is definitely the light of our lives!! Thanks for joining in! Another update coming below!

So glad you got to catch up! I need to get over and catch up on yours too. . .darn work getting in the way of DIS time! We really had terrific CM's on this trip! They truly make the trip much more magical! I was sad, too, that D didn't like BOG. I hope one day we'll make it back there, but he's not so thrilled with that idea right now. That storm on the cruise day was SO scary! I was glad to see the good weather return!

I'm going to say good call x2! Once For staying on board and enjoying the ship, and twice for the sit down breakfast. Looks really nice and relaxing, especially with so few people!

It was terrific. . .both staying on the ship AND the sit-down breakfast! I foresee a repeat of that in March!!

I think you made a good decision heading to the sit down restaurant. It seemed like a nice, relaxing breakfast that you could enjoy instead of being rushed and in a crowded place. I can't wait to see how you guys spent your first full day on the cruise.

It was such a wonderful breakfast, and I can't wait to do it again!! So relaxing and terrific!

Ok, y'all. . .update coming below!! Thanks again for reading along!!

We got back to the room and got ready, and headed up to the pools! D loved the Mickey pool! I had read a lot about it being overcrowded, but there must have been a lot of people off in Nassau, because it didn’t really seem all that crowded to me.

We got two chairs, left our stuff, and then D and I went to the pool. When we got there, Brian decided that the line for the Aquaduck was short, so he went off to ride!

D and I played in the pool and watched “Snow White” on FunnelVision while we watched for him to take his turn.

After just a little bit, it was Brian’s turn! I don’t have a picture of him going (thought I did, but it was some random guy!!). He loved it, though!! When he got back down to the pool, I went to take a turn. While I was in line and riding the Aquaduck, D decided HE needed a new adventure. What was it? The MICKEY SLIDE!!

Brian took him over to ride it and had intended to go up with him and then let D slide on his own. However, parents cannot go up with them. So, that definitely made it an adventure for D! He rode it once and LOVED it! I finished the Aquaduck about that time, so he had to show me. I guess he rode it probably 15 times, just one right after another! So much fun!!

We played and played in the pool and on the Mickey slide! We were starting to get hungry, but there was one more place to check out before we ate. . .Nemo’s Reef!!

I really liked this area—it was really cute theming, and everything was fun! The kids in there ranged from really little to probably about 8 or 9 years old. D thought all of the sprayers and the stingray slide were super cool!!

After all of that swimming, we had worked up an appetite! Where to for lunch? Will it be Enchanted Garden again??
