We were all ready to refuel by this point, but we had one more stop to make before we headed to lunch. I should say this first: Brian and I USED to be organized park travelers. We used to go in order with the rides, follow the best plan around, and not cross park if we could help it. Now. . .not so much. I guess that it really didn’t matter as much this time since we only had two days and we were at the same park each day, but as I type the trip report, it’s kinda funny to me how we never did what you’re “supposed” to do!

Where did we head from the water area? Buzz Lightyear, Space Ranger!! Last year, D HATED this ride. He cried from beginning to end. Now, to be fair, it was right after the Great Splash Mountain Disaster of 2012, but he HATED it. So bad that even though I had the PhotoPass+, I didn’t get the ride pic. No need to relive that one.
However, he had agreed to ride it again, and actually seemed a little excited! He wanted to ride with me, and when we got there, the line wasn’t long at all. We hopped right in, and we were on in just a matter of minutes. I helped him figure out how to shoot, and he was battling the aliens in no time. He even outscored me! This time. . .I have ride photos!!

After saving the galaxy, one MUST have a pic with Zurg!

Then we decided to head to lunch. A quick detour to have some castle and Tomorrowland pics made, though, was a must!!

Gotta love those PhotoPass pics!
FINALLY (probably 30-40 minutes after we left the water area), we made it to our FAVORITE lunch destination. . .COLUMBIA HARBOUR HOUSE! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! In fact, I tell everyone that I help with Disney planning to go here at least once. So, so good!!
D & I found a table upstairs and relaxed while Bri went to get the food. I love just being in the upstairs area and relaxing. While we were looking out the window, I noticed that it was starting to get REALLY crowded. It didn’t seem that way when you were out in it (or maybe I didn’t notice because we had started so early), but there were LOTS of people out there!
Brian arrived with the food, and it was time to get some Disney goodness going! Brian and I had the chicken and fish combo, and D had chicken nuggets. I don’t know why this is, but the chicken nuggets they give adults in that meal are GOOD. The chicken nuggets they give kids are completely different and look like the potato patties they serve in my school cafeteria. Since that was the food with which D had a bad experience the day before, he immediately said, “Momma, that’s the BAD chicken. I can’t eat that.” Trying to avoid the crisis, I gave him my chicken and convinced him that if it looked like my chicken it was “good” chicken. Chicken—0, Momma—1!! Take that, Chicken!

We finished off the yummalicious meal with 1 of 2 reasons CHH is so awesome—apple pie!! I LOVE it, and I could probably eat 5. I don’t, but I probably could. (If you were wondering, the other reason CHH is so awesome is that they have “real” sweet tea! It tastes like someone brews it, instead of having that canned taste.)
Finished with lunch, we made a plan to head to the ONE place I was most excited to see in all of Magic Kingdom (after making LOTS of fun of me that it was the place I was most excited to see). Any guesses?? Another update coming tomorrow!!
