Pirate/River Cruise age ?s

How strict are they on the ages for letting kids on these cruises? We will be at POR in August and thought about looking into the Sassagoula River Cruise. I thought it started at age 3 but just saw something that said for children 4 - 10. My kids will be 3.10 (and totally potty trained), 7 and 9. Thanks for your info!

THey are absolutely completely strict. They told me (may or may not be true, but makes sense) that to care for the kids, they had to be licensed by the state. They are only licensed for ages 4+. So they could get in massive amounts of trouble if they take a younger kid. BTW we are in the same boat. DD would be 3 DAYS from her 4th birthday.
