is the ride/attraction closed for refurbishing? does anyone know, if the shop right outside of the ride is closed? need to get a poc antenna ball for someone...was just wondering...thanx!

If it is closed you may still be able to get the ball at the big store in Downtown disney ...............they seem to have everything the parks have and more!

The Emporium, on Main Street, should have POC antenna balls also. I was at Downtown Disney tonight. I saw lots of different antenna balls - seasonal Mickeys were cute! Not sure about POC, though.

I was there last weekend and the POC shop was still open. However, there were guys walking around in suits with blueprints talking about walls and doors, so it probably won't be open for the whole down time. I would say that they will definately relocate that merchandise elsewhere when it closes.

Yes, I agree about the guys in suits last week. Seems like they are planning changes. Depends on when you go... I bet the shop will be open for a while. We shopped two days after the last Pirates ride.
