Pirate night

Has anyone heard whether the 3-day Wonder has started Pirates night yet?

All of us on the Wonder are anxiously awaiting the first reports back from the Wonder for this year.

DCL has promised "early 2005," and we are all hoping that early equates with JANUARY!

I hope we hear something soon!

Hi , I am newbie here, and taking my first cruise in Feb 27, 2005 Wonder... and have never heard of Pirate Night! What is it?

On the seven-day cruise, on the Magic, they have a Pirates night.

"Jack Sparrow" repels down on the ship's smokestacks....and--this is just a brief synopsis--the "pirates" capture the men in the audience. (This is part of a Pirates' deck party.) Eventually, in the end Captain Mickey rushes in to rescue the "captives" and set them free! On the Magic, I believe they have fireworks in addition to the party.

(Anyone out there who has been to the party, please add to my very limited details above!!!)

Disney Cruise Lines has said they are adding this Pirates' night to the 3- and 4-day Wonder in "early 2005." So....all of us sailing in "early 2005" are anxiously awaiting news to hear if it's been added yet! We are keeping are fingers crossed!!!!

We were on the 12/11/04 cruise, and pirate night was wonderful. They had a spectacular fireworks display after the party. It was the 1st official fireworks display that they will continue with on every 7 day. Not sure if the 3 or 4 day have them. If your there, don't miss it!!! Oh yeah, and it rains/snows huge cotton balls!!!
